About Me

Jeremy Weinglass began his musical studies at the age of seven at Nueva Learning Center in the Bay Area on a Yehudi Menuhin Scholarship for piano. As an original member of the Ragazzi Peninsula Boys’ Chorus, and while attending advanced piano and theory classes at the Conservatory of Music in San Francisco, Jeremy was exposed quickly to a wide spectrum of musical education. In junior high and high school he performed with jazz bands, accompanied school choirs, and was vocal and music director of several musical productions. During this time, Jeremy studied with the person he considers his most influential teacher, Thomas La Ratta, former Music Director at College of Notre Dame. Jeremy then attended UC Santa Barbara where he had the experience of composing for and performing with singers and orchestral ensembles. In 2000, Jeremy graduated from UCSB with a Bachelors of Music in Composition.
Jeremy was a pianist with Nordstrom from 1998-2007, making him the youngest pianist to work for the department store.
Since college, Jeremy has had opportunities to play on cruise ships throughout Hawaii and Alaska, accompany a singing group in Switzerland, and has done 8 USO Tours as a keyboardist with the band Ballentine all over Europe, Central America, The Caribbean, Cuba, Greenland and Okinawa, Japan.
In 2005, Jeremy was honored as the Instrumentalist of the Year by the LA Music Awards.
Jeremy’s musical talents make him a sought after musician and he is regularly asked to accompany other artists in performances and session work. Most recently, he toured with Engelbert Humperdinck playing string and horn parts on his keyboard.
Jeremy resides in Los Angeles and is the pianist at The Beverly Hilton 3 nights a week. Here he has the opportunity to show off his vast repertoire and play a wide variety of musical genres from classical to current pop/rock hits, as well as his original compositions. Come check him out live Mon, Tue and Fri 6-10pm in the Lobby Bar.
