Understanding that music is a boundless universal language, Nassiri (pronounced: na SEER ee) is an artist dedicated to spreading a message of peace to help heal the world with song. His music is an eclectic mix of melodies which transcend cultures and genres, with poetic lyrics that express love, peace and unity through reflection and spirituality.
Born in Iran, Fereidoun Nassiri has embarked on a lifelong quest for enlightenment. After immigrating to the United States, the young entrepreneur eagerly embraced the opportunities found in his new home and his successful business ventures soon yielded financial gain. Despite new-found wealth, Nassiri continued searching for lifes meaning. His exploration began with reflection and intense study. He sought out great master gurus from all over the globe. After years of study and meditation, Nassiri gained a deeper understanding of what is truly important in the universe. He rejected his material gains, and stripped his life of the distractions which were preventing him from achieving spiritual growth.
Rekindling his childhood dream, Nassiri found the best way to express the lessons learned from his studies was through music. Unleashing his creativity Nassiri wrote hundreds of songs, poems and pieces of prose, each with an intrinsic message of universal hope and togetherness.
Nassiris debut album, entitled Love Sees No Color, is a compilation of 12 original compositions that speak musically, lyrically and spiritually to the common bonds of the races of the earth. Love, hope and unity are the recurring themes of songs that resonate with the instruments and rhythms of countless cultures and musical genres. Nassiri believes that children are the key to any movement for world peace, and this next generation must be exposed to uplifting music with a poignant message. To that end, Nassiri will donate proceeds from this song and corresponding music video to childrens charities and world poverty relief organizations.
Nassiri is dedicated to spreading love, peace, understanding and unity through music. A philanthropist, visionary and artist, Nassiri has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for his work to spread the message of peace. For his work on Love Sees No Color the anthem for World Peace Day, Nassiri received a Congressional Certificate of Recognition and a Certificate of Recognition from the State of Nevada. In the Houston Worldfest Film Festival, Nassiris video for Love Sees No Color, filmed in the scenic Red Rock National Conservatory, earned three awards for its contribution to the global humanitarian message. In his local community of Henderson, Nevada, June 4 was proclaimed as World Peace Anthem Love Sees No Color Day by municipal officials.
