WRFL 88.1FM

Since 1988, WRFL has broadcast commercial-free programming 24 hours a day from the University of Kentucky campus to Lexington. WRFL is managed by UK students and has other students, alumni, faculty, and community volunteers that make up a large and diverse staff.
WRFL provides an outlet for underground and independent music traversing through the styles of indie rock, hip-hop, jazz, punk, folk, electronic, avant garde, bluegrass, international, and anything you wouldn’t hear on other stations or on MTV. WRFL also has morning and afternoon news programming.
WRFL hosts a variety of concerts and events throughout the year, most of which are all ages and low cost, striving to provide a service to the community.
