loft, founded in 2006, is a young and promising fourpiece from Basel, Switzerland. They create psychedelic indie-alternative sounds, which unite to a partly impulsive, crashing, partly spherical to the point of breathtaking totality.
loft has won third place at the firewire06 contest after being just one month together and since then has played several concerts. In late autumn, two songs were recorded at the home studio of mañana and published on the internet. In early 2007, the band won third place at the strampolin newcomer-contest and plans to get as much live experience as possible during the year, before recording their first ep at the beginning of 2008.
