BLUSH - CRACKING CODES
PRODUCED BY SIMON RAMSEIER(LOVEBUGS) AT BASELCITYSTUDIOS IN MARCH 2008
BLUSH
Touching, moving, compelling. Blush, the Emergenza 2005 winner, have their own unmistakable trademark – a healthy portion of rock combined with a generous helping of pop and topped off with vibrant vocals that get right under the skin. Their sound waves are well worth the ride. Whether live or on CD the compelling melodies bursting with energy and feeling are guaranteed to move everyone they touch.
Blush is an indie rock band from Basel consisting of Dominik Sutter (Gesang, Gitarre), Marcel Huber (Gitarre), Alain Ihr (Bass and Backing Vocals) and David Burger (Drums, Samples, Backing Vocals). The four of them have spent a very busy year in the recording studio working on their debut album 'cracking codes', which is planned for release in autumn 2007. Until then, there's still a lot to be done. But that's not all they've been up to. They were also supporting acts for bands like I'm from Barcelona (Sweden), Mando Diao (Sweden) and Belasco (UK).
In September 2007 Blush will begin their concert tour of Switzerland, France and Germany; yet another step in their rising career, which has seen them play at venues like Zürcher Volkshaus (Zurich), Rohstofflager (Zurich), Kaserne (Basel), Sommercasino (Basel), Taubertal Open Air (Germany) and the Imagine Festival (Basel). Having already had appreciable air play on a number of radio stations Blush are now embarking to go out and conquer the world of radio and television with their latest hit single 'sleep', which will be released at the end of August 2007.
Blush definitely have what it takes: boundless energy and ideas, a great stage presence, a breathtaking show and a cracking new CD. But this is just the beginning – there'll be a lot more to come!
