I am a painter and a perfumer in NYC. My new paintings are huge 7 foot high figurative peices of half women half creatures,, very realistically painted. .The series is called Mythological Evolution, new creatures. They are all about a sort of post apocalyptic utopia .. a melding of creatures and people and nature. They are new Goddesses & Gods.. horned, winged creatures with human sensuality and erotisism they are sensual and strange My perfumes embrace a similar sensibility of sensuality and sexuality. I've been called the bad girl of perfume. the rock n roll perfumer.. Names like "Queen Bitch" "Courtesan" "Venus in furs" wrap themselves around very unusual scents, as does the 22 K gold leaf that I gild my bottles with. My scents are often very conceptual in nature- I create them based on music, paintings, literature etc... and I basically want to create perfume as art.. as treasures. They are old world meets modern world.. my perfumes, like my paintings, are often a little wicked, very beautiful.. unusual and always sexy.
