Knowledge is power and ignorance should not be bliss. I believe in educating oneself through reading. Television is one of our greatest modern evils because it makes us zombies who aren’t thinking for ourselves. I’m a shy person and hard to get to know, but I hold my friends close to my heart. I love animals and nature. Learning new things is one of my passions and I will read about almost anything. I love conspiracy theories! I have a deep concern for environmental issues, most notably global warming. It's about time we started viewing ourselves as being a part of our environment, rather than separate from it. After all, we are animals too!I have an identical twin sister named Melissa (so if you ever say hi to me and I look at you like you're crazy it's probably cos it wasn't me). I'm a PA but one day hope to become a writer. I'm interested in travel and photography (not that I'm particularly good at it, but I love taking pictures of natural landscapes). I hope one day to visit all of the continents. I visited New Zealand in February 2005 (a truly stunning country - go there if you ever get the chance), and spent June 2006 traveling around Europe.I'm a passionate idealist who chooses to see the world as it should be, rather than how it actually is. I am a walking contradiction. I am indecisive yet resolute. I believe strongly in things, but reserve the right to change my mind at a moment's notice! I am a rebel without a cause, a truth seeker and a dreamer. I live to defy stereotypes, so do not try to pigeonhole me, I will only surprise you! I have always beaten my own path in life, and even more so as I get older. I am constantly growing and evolving, so the person I am today may not be the person I am tomorrow. I use too many exclamation marks! I live in a fantasy world at times, but I can assure you that it's still far more beautiful than most things the "real world" have served up. I am a chronic procrastinator. I spend most of my time thinking about doing things, rather than actually doing them! Guilt is my constant companion. My friends are the family I have chosen for myself, and they mean the world to me! I am incapable of lying. I believe only half of what I read, and take the rest with a grain of salt. Remember, it's the "winners" who write the history books!I usually alternate between not taking life seriously at all, and not taking life seriously enough. I love to laugh and engage in witty repartee. After all, it's impossible to feel sad when you are too busy laughing!Much of my days are spent with my head in the clouds, dreaming of a perfect world, looking for depth in my everyday existence, and seeking my spiritual destiny. I am forever in pursuit of anything that gives my life more meaning; something to put the wind in my sails, a fire in my belly, and fill the empty chasm in my soul. If you are really interested in knowing more about who I am, read my blog entitled "100 Random Facts".

Television:

Weeds, Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. I also like documentaries but don't watch too much television, as it slows the mind and keeps us from doing something more productive!
You Are a Visionary Soul
You are a curious person, always in a state of awareness.
Connected to all things spiritual, you are very connected to your soul.
You are wise and bright: able to reason and be reasonable.
Occasionally, you get quite depressed and have dark feelings.

You have great vision and can be very insightful.
In fact, you are often profound in a way that surprises yourself.
Visionary souls like you can be the best type of friend.
You are intuitive, understanding, sympathetic, and a good healer.

Souls you are most compatible with: Old Soul and Peacemaker Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?

Books:

Anything with historical or fantastical elements. All time favourites include the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pride & Prejudice and Angels & Demons (which I liked even more than the Da Vinci Code). A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. Oh, and the Boudica series by Manda Scott! I also enjoy reading about history, new age spirituality, and educational books to expand my mind. I would like to eventually read a book from every section of the bookstore.
be sorted @ nimbo.net What is Your Patronus? Version 1
Your Patronus is the Wolf! The wolf is a symbol of wisdom, loyalty and independence. He is one of history's more revered (and feared) characters. That your Patronus is a wolf says that you are very wise as a person. You tend to be loyal to your friends, even when they screw up, but you are also independent. Finding that balance is key; finding it will ensure that you will be a wonderful witch or wizard!
