U.D.S.S.R. was founded in autum 2000.Our music is a mixture of ska and PUNK - we call it BRASS PUNK :) The socialcritical english LYRICS should energize the listener to build his/her own opinion.The band is known for energy-loaded shows and has often been adressed as one of Austrians best LIVE acts.This was prooved at shows in B, CZ, DK, D, ITA, NL, UK, POL, CH, SK, HUN, HR and last but not least AUT.We played together with bands such as Furillo (DK), Terrorgruppe (D), Pietasters (USA), UK Subs (UK), Chumbawamba (UK) Exploited (UK), Kafkas (D), The Real Mc Kenzies (CAN), Rantanplan (D), Rasta Knast (D), Wohlstandskinder (D), ZSK (D), Normahl (D), Total Chaos (USA), Lightyear (UK), Distemper (RUS), Tagtraum (D), Argies (ARG), Bambix (NL), RubberSlime (D), Spitfire (RUS), Elvis Jackson (SLOV), The Special Guests (D), Horace Pinker (USA), I Against I (NL) as well as a show at the â€žDonauinselfestâ€œ (Europes biggest Open Air Festival) and - as first Austrian Band ever - at the well-known German "Force Attack" Festival.
