During the late winter of 2003, a huge rock n roll sound was born in the flatlands of Romagna, our beloved region. This sound, day after day, took its place in the sick ears of common people, making their days better that they have ever been.
Fathers of this new deal of local scene were two well known guys of local Hardcore, the former members of Consequence, Gento and Wallace.
In the last months of the 2003, after the dissolution of the band known as XconsequenceX, Gento gave much of his time to the local ska-core band Eight Mockers, as its vocalist.
But he also found the time to write down new riffs and songs with his guitar, finding again the aggressive R n R sound and melting it with some melodic HC influences. This was enough to phone back to his friend Wallace (playing with the Pop band Livida at that time) to rebuild the old bound once shattered.
There was a great potential in the songs written by Gento, and both him and Wallace knew that. Now it was only a matter of filling the empty spaces of a growing band.
Thanks to Gentos hints and the local friendships, many vocalists and drummers crossed their road with the ready-to-born ShowStripSilence at the DunaStudio, but the line-up came only when attitude and feelings melt together in the right way at the right time.
The came of Ben at the drums (local nu-metal drummer from the band Hidentity) was a key sustain to the project. After his came there was Lollos (former drummer of Shotgun Suicide). He added his guitar and voice to the band bring the sound to a brand new level of power.
The ShowStripSilence were finally born with the following line-up:
Gento (vocals and guitar)
Wallace (bass and back vocals)
Ben (drums)
