Spiritual growth, the Life Force, Christ, higher states of consciousness, transcendence! ...friends, family, music, nature, animals, traveling, culture, self improvement, self awareness, quantum physics, history, political activism, objective journalism, alternative energy, education reform, "Indigo" children, holistic medicine, psychology (or the true "study of the psyche/spirit"), mental health reform, prison reform.... Serving God, serving humanity, serving Self!
And update as of March 2008: I'm planning to join the Army and go to medical school for the Doctor of Osteopathy program!

Plant the seeds...

Change is inevitable, and nothing represents metamorphosis like Butterfly. Within the egg lies a Being or thought stirring into life; with birthing, the larva or caterpillar voraciously absorbs all nourishment, thought, and knowledge, manifesting all into the physical; then one "goes within" the chrysalis, allowing inspiration, that connection to oneself and to all there is, to rest and develop; finally the Butterfly emerges and flits and dances from one colorful flower to the next, tasting the sweet nectars of Life and sharing its gifts with the World.
All of life's processes take us through these four transformative steps, including conception, birth, growth, and wisdom of old age, but also in our daily thoughts and activities. How easily we change is determined by how thoroughly, creatively, and beautifully we move from one stage to the next.

Grew up on classic rock and heavy metal. I appreciate all types including industrial, folk, funk, reggae, world beats, ethnic, rhythm and blues, hip-hop, and well I appreciate just about anything that can get yer bootie movin'.
Oh! and 80's rocks!!!
Movies:
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), Kiss of the Spider Woman, Scar Face, Fiddler on the Roof, Dune, Tommy, The Matrix (so many more)... Just about any movie with Anthony Hopkins, Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman, John Travolta, Gary Oleman, Sean Penn, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Eddie Murphy, Jim Carey, Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer.... musicals, drama, science fiction, adventure... and I reeeeeeeeally like documentaries and historical films! ...Film of the century, in my opinion, is The Secret!
Television:
The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Mind of Mencia (those three guys rock!) ...Food Network, South Park, History Channel, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and I even watch C-SPAN.... okay, and Fox and CNN to remind myself why I publish a "truly objective" newspaper.
