Leon was born in November 1979 and grew up on the outskirts of West London in a town called Ruislip.
He has always had a passion and natural talent for music.
At 9 years old he started taking Keyboard lessons, he passed every exam written for this instrument with a high standard and then went on to learn how to play the guitar. This musical ability saw Leon involved with several bands through his time at school performing on stage at concerts and shows which he loved.
At the age of 15 he discovered house music, needless to say the guitar started to gather dust in the corner of his room and was eventually sold a few years later to fund Leon’s next musical mission, DJ’ing!
Despite his father saying “vinyl is dead†Leon went out and bought a pair of Technics 1210’s and got to work learning how to mix. Leon’s LOVE for house music just grew and grew, and after years of DJ’ing in his bedroom, he felt the time was right to take his records to a club and DJ to a dance floor of clubbers.
His first gig was at Watford’s finest club Area in 2005, a big step up from his bedroom, but it gave Leon a taste of the DJ scene and the opportunity to gain some valuable experience.
He went on to secure himself gigs in and around London to gain further experience and confidence, this led to him being given a summer residency at Sin in London where he played for a couple of months during the summer of 2006.
He then mixed his way to the semi finals of the Networking Central DJ of the year competition 2006 which gave him the opportunity to play outside of London.
Leon also presents a weekly show on innacityfm.com where he plays his funky, vocal house music to his regular listeners.
Leon’s most recent and definitely most significant achievement was winning a competition held by "Funky4Love".
Winning this gave him the opportunity to play in the main room at an internationally recognized club, Pacha.
Since then he has been re-booked to DJ for them again, and is now proud to be a "Funky4Love" resident DJ.
Leon’s achievements in 2006, along with his dedication to house music and DJ’ing will undoubtedly ensure him a successful DJ career in the future. His aim for 2007 is to take his records to the party capital of the world, Ibiza, and fulfill every DJ’s Dream!

So far in 2007 leon has been concentrating on producing, he has written a few original tracks and has recently just finished his remix of "Gypsy Woman" which is already getting excellent feedback. You can hear this remix and his latest track "Excite Me" on his myspace music profile
He is currently working on a remix of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" with Nathan 6. This will available soon.
Leon still continues his DJ'ing, with a secure residency for "Phunkfactory" along with bookings from "MiMo" and "Inigo"..... More to follow!
