About Me

the_aUdience formed in October of 2004. One month later, they shared the stage together for the first time at a battle of the bands. Since then, they have written a dozen original songs and added an arsenal of covers from the 80s and 90s to their repertoire. The band performed live or on the radio more than sixty times in 2005. In addition to playing nearly every rock music venue in Tallahassee, they have performed in various cities throughout Florida and Georgia. So far, the_aUdience has been invited to return to every venue they've played at.
The band's first single, "Dumb to Believe," has been played on radio stations in Tallahassee (FL), Panama City (FL), and Valdosta (GA). It currently holds the record for most requested song by a local band on WGLF-FM in Tallahassee, having spent nine weeks in a row in the top 3-- seven of which were at number 1. The song has also garnered awards at Garageband.com in the categories of Best Female Vocals, Best Drums, and Most Bitter Breakup Song. the_aUdience recently recorded three more songs and will be headed back to the studio in September to complete an EP.
In July of 2007, after going all over Florida, Georgia and Alabama, playing hundreds of shows in dozens of cities, the_aUdience called it quits. The band would like to thank every single person that has been there to support them, believed in them and rocked out with them along the way. "Thank you to everyone that has hooked us up with shows in different cities and to all that let us crash on your floors. Thank you to everyone who paid to get into any venue to see us. All of your love and support kept us going and we love you all for everything" (Brandy, Keli, Jeremy & Joe).
UPDATE Fall 2007:
The members of the_aUdience are carrying on and working in new and exciting projects.
Brandy is a new home owner here in Tallahassee. She continues her support of the Tallahassee music scene and local music. We can't wait for her break to be over and await her return to the mic.
Jeremy is exploring his television production career and has moved to West Palm to work in a larger market. We wish him all the best in this career path and expect continued growth for him as producer.
Joe is also a new home owner here in Tallahassee. After a short time with Tallahassee based band, Citizen Snips, Joe left the project to join another Tally group, Quiddity. Continue to support him in his new efforts by visiting them as http://www.myspace.com/thedreamsea
Keli is in her 3rd year of the doctoral program in the FSU-COE. Drumming has changed it's pace for Keli, she now kicks a different groove as the drummer for the Sarah Mac Band. Check out http://myspace.com/sarahmacband or http://sarahmacband.com
