|BIOGRAPHY of LCK:
One of Australia’s finest to come out of 2006, with his first club residency at Bass Station in 2002, LCK stormed through the years meeting every hope or expectation that was given to him, while listening to all kinds of muzik to create something new, raising the bar that much higher every time.
With residencies at Pharmacy, Sunshine People, Universe, Infekted, Bubble, Illusion + many more, having played alongside not only Qbert, Carl Cox, Zombie Nation, Fred Baker, A*S*Y*S, Kamui, Scot Project, Yoji Biomehanika, Energy Dai, Alex Kidd, Thomas Schumacher, Guiseppe Ottaviani, Cosmic Gate, Talla 2XLC, Combechrist and Dave Joy, LCK broke away from the mould that he had been created in at Bass Station, and proved himself to be the uniquely talented artist that he is, and left the words “this boy’s got skills†on the lips of all that witnessed his flawless performance behind the decks.
Never liking to stand still, LCK’z reputation for being an innovator and breaking boundaries continued with his duo partnership alongside best friend, Master Kaos, to form the renound 9th Insight. Appearing at such events as Two Tribes, Digital, Sunshine People, Pharmacy, Belfast, Universe, and Hardware. From then on, LCK had proved his worthiness to stand beside such superstars as, Carl Cox, Fred Baker, A*S*Y*S, Alex Kidd to name a few, leaving an everlasting impression on those that flock to the packed dance floors he performs to.
LCK’s skill, dedication, and sheer passion for music and everything that encompasses it, leaves a striking impression on all that meet him. Adding to those qualities, his energetic personality and compassion ensure that without fail, whether junior dj’s or the worlds best, all immediately grow a unique respect for him.
2006 was a busy year for LCK, with his own business “Dyverse Scratching Techniques†(DST – Home Service Scratching & Mixing Lessons) on the rise. Having toured Australia with band ONEODD for the CKY tour, leaving the shores of Australia to perform in Malaysia for Hardsequence, and back home sitting countless hours in the DST studio’z working on new productions.
Starting 2007 with a bang, 9th Insight played before Carl Cox @ Sunshine People then straight back into the studio to make the Pharmacy Our Law 2007 Promo CD while recently playing over in New Zealand to present Pharmacy. Along with this LCK created his own Record Label “Dyverse Recordinz†that contains “Bring It†& Internal External, and will be having a major release through Pharmacy Wreck Cords in the second half of the year for “Penguins†(LCK & Elysium Mix), Courtesy of ONEODD.
Come check out his new Thursday Night, “GroundZERO†@ Bar Altitude, in conjunction with Killrockstar and Cybergroove, bringing a mixture of Funky House, PHAT Electro and NU Rave to Hard Trance.
