WHAT'S UP MYSPACE PEOPLE!!
This is D1, the singer of Aquavibe. I'm in the process of reaching out to MySpace people. We are looking to make some new friends and connections.
Well, as far as the "about me" stuff: I'm a musician who plays a bunch of instruments and styles. You can say I'm a people-person. I love to share the gift of creativity. My day job is making music for commercials (i.e. Sam Adams Beer, ESPN, Neutrogena, etc.). That's okay, but my real passion is my band Aquavibe (which you see and listen to here).
I'm in the process of introducing Mix-Hop to people who have similar music interests.
Well, I hope to hear from y'all, especially the music-lovers. Below is some info about what we do. Write us if you're feelin' the vibe or just got comments/questions.

We started a few years back, but in 2004, AQUAVIBE started to attract mainstream attention. Our tracks earned us a spot in the
Playboy: The Mansion video game released late January 2005 on Xbox, PS2, and PC. Three of our songs are featured in the game, and the band members appear as characters in the Sims-type role playing simulation, which is generating Aquavibe CD sales from all over the world, from Switzerland to Tokyo to Argentina!
We also collaborated on a song with
DJ Excess , the ITF 2000 Western Hemisphere Scratch Champion and Scatch DJ Academy Instructor. The song, entitled
L.U.S.T. The Remix appears on Aquavibe's self-titled 2004 debut as well as in the Playboy Mansion.
Our album was designated Editor's Pick in the "Alternative Hip-Hop" as well as "Contemporary Urban" categories by
CDBaby.com . Our songs are also being featured on two 2005 hip-hop compilations to be released in the coming months.
Aquavibe plays around NYC, the 5 boroughs and Long Island on a regular basis and we're interested in traveling all over the US in the near future, so keep in touch if you don't live in our area...
