xXxEastCoastRoxXx    ***************************** May. 18th, 2008Welbilt show coming up at the Fairfax city Fest and the Throwdown...woot woot! Its a must see ya'll!May. 10th, 2008Whats up peeps...its been a while but first of all, i've been checking out the last band standing for the chilli cook off and let me tell you, our local bands have been kickin some major ass. Props go out to Black Jack, BoB and The Dance Party. A few of my buds and I got to see these great bands and let me tell you The Dance Party is implies soft danceable tunes but let me tell you, their sound is up beat, intense and will make ur booty sweat..hmmmm...this is a must see act...check them out when you get a chance. The Blackjacks, well, this band is composed by members from out beloved Welbilt who parted ways earlier this year. Watching nake playing bass was kool but yet different....and watching someone else singing was also a bit odd. I got to admit, their music was well received by the crowd. The style is really different then Welbilt...so if you do get a chance to see them dont expect to hear "Bombs Away" or "December" which although are one of my fav tunes but the new band does not lean towards this sound. BoB....was BoB...i do got to say...these boys continue to amaze me. They still keep up their hard rock edge while still experimenting with other styles....be on the look out of their forthcoming album that is due to be released sometime in late May.UpDate....Congrats to the Winners of the Last Band Standing "THE BLACKJACKS" you all rock....see u at the Chilli Cook Off.Jan. 30th, 2008
***PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT COMING OUT TUESDAY NIGHT 2/12 AT 7PM TO TT REYNOLDS AND JOIN US IN HELPING TO SAVE A LOCAL MUSIC LANDMARK!"Dec. 31th, 2007 I know I know.....I haven't posted dirt in a while...Wes and I have been workin' on a couple of projects that may bloom in the near future...but...let's do a recap of 2007. During this year, we saw the local rock scene reach an all new plateu due to new album releases, gained audience, big festival events that may soon move to bigger venues, and bands wanting to elevate their sound by working with music/video industry well known producers. The year started with a banging series of concerts held by the top local bands, there were too many of them bands to name but the events kicked ass! For the Summer, it got elevated with the well advertised Throwdown 2007 with over 70 bands; The 3 day show made it to the Washington Post and into the air waves. In the Fall, a few new releases were celebrated in drunk infested parties (hellz yeahz) and also we saw some amazing bands call it quits for one reason or another. Honorable mention to WELBILT who played a kick ass show at the Save TT's Concert and that later went out with a bang at their last VA Concert held at TT's. This was the low point of the local rock scene to loose such talent. We also saw the local community pull together to help save TT's in one way or another by either signing a petition to the Fairfax City Government, Contributing with cash or making good use of their time by puttin' peepz asses to work lol....for a good cause that is. But as the cold winter was making its was, there was light at the end of the tunel; soja, bob, ebp, the speaks, released new albums that were here to bring joy to our bleeding ears and with that I also managed to see a new genre of rock Reggae Metal that I've never seen solidified yet. Reggae Metal was brought in by a band from Michigan that opened for SOJA at the S.T. @ Dec 29th.All and all this was a bitch of a year because of the many ups and downs we all experienced with the local rock music scene but also new seeds were planted for the upcoming year which i'm anxious to see how it unfolds.......check you out at a local show y'all...peace!$&*^%*&%^Oct 22nd, 2007
So far October aka Rocktober, has been a real devastating month for local music. A couple of Jaggernaut bands call it quits during the past few weeks; H*H and Chrysalis. These two bands were known for bringing their own blend of fresh, original, live stage ass kicking performances. While i did manage to make it to the H*H show and see them for the last time, i wasnt able to see Chysalis on their last show at Jaxx. On the last H*H show, they rocked the legendary WOODS Community Center one last time on Oct 6th leaving behind many things and carrying on their spirits to their next projects. I did speak to Davey for a bit after the concert and he told me that things are going good on the West Coast. He is experiencing a lot of new things and carrying on with his musical destiny. Davey is working with some musicians out there; he will bring the end product to us hopefully soon...The other members of H*H went on to form Berretta Jane with Mr valentino as their front man; check them out at www.myspace.com/berrettajane I also managed to take my crappy cam-corder to the show and record some clips, i'll be posting some footage from WOODS...hopefully in the near future. In regards to our good friends from Chrysalis, i wish they could've played a farewell show for their fans. As i said it before, this is one band that rocks, even as a 3 piece band. These boys brought back the perfect rawness and calculated brutal hard hitting beast that rock should also be (both in the studio and in live concerts). The SOUND PERFECTIONIST band that Chrysalis is, was worth seeing live from start to end; the sound captured during the recording sessions were perfectly translated on stage with a hint of live ass kicking performance. I had a chance to check them out a handfull of times and it was always a new experience; i'm sure there are some people that are with me on that one. In addition, i got to hang out with Bilal and Denis after a few shows; these guys are really kool and into their craft. Per their last bulletin posted, the boys leave the band in good terms and perhaps....if we do bugg the shit out of them, they might just come back and play the good old tunes one last time for us..their FANSSSSSS!!!!Much luck to you guys!!ECRSept 24th, 2007 What a freakin' nite it was this past Sat 22nd. I got to admit I was a little skeptical about the line up bands that were supporting bob on their 3rd year aniversary show at the State Theater in Falls Church, VA...truth is I had not heard of them in the past but boyyyy they did leave me with my head spinning. 3 STAR KARMA was the first band to open up the bill. This was the first time I saw this band. Got to admit that the curled up cowboy hat worn by the singer was very eye catching and the music played by the boys grabbed me by the COJONES. They did play a very thick sound that reminded me of the hard core sound from the late 90's but 3*K made it sound much smoother and easy to digest. Their stage presence was very energetic and slammin'; specially the bassist, that dude can fookin' rock!! If you get a chance to catch them at a live show, by all means do it, you'll enjoy it. I'm havent heard their studio recordings yet, so i cant comment on their studio work. The Second band to take the stage was Sematic, i'm probably the only guy who hasnt heard of these guys in the area but apparently they do have a big following that made their presence be heard on this night. Although, these dudes dont look like you regular rockers, they do pack the floor and like to give it to their fans live. Their casual blend of hardcore rock and casual fills of clean guitar riffs into their music made this a bit different and in a way ballsie cause if not done well, it could kill the mood of the flow..but they pulled it off and their crowd freakin loved it. Their rendition of Sugar by System of a Down was freaking awesome; just like the real thing. This tune brought out the mosh pit wich was not a gentle one. I am a bouncer myself and didnt really want to get in the mix lol. This is another band worth checking out. Everyone But Pete was the next on the bill, they brought out a much mellower kinda rock that is in a way in the category of locals Army Of Me. Their well crafted music was well displayed on stage. This was a band that is a must see for those who dig the gentler kind of rock. BOBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB tore it all up at the end. BOB was BOB and they did what they do best, which is rock the house down. Their extravagant show was filled by an accoustic set, dancers, sponsors up the wazoo. what else could you ask for. Their thick blend of metal pop rock was again the favorite of the nite. And since it was their 3rd year aniversary as a band, it only indicates that the boys are maturing into their sound and getting better. These fukkaz do not grow gray hair...lol ...they grow blue, red and yellow hair in stead. Peace out...and till next show!ECRSept 11th, 2007 R.I.P. all the September 11, 2001 Victims and to the Soldiers that gave their lives while servicing our nation. We keep you in our minds and heart every single day that goes by. Those soldiers and gov't servicemen that are protecting our nation and fighting this war deserve all the love and respect from us..even if this war is not justified.Sept 9th, 2007 What a bad week its been for the local music scene. When i first heard that Havok in Hollywood, a Maryland based band, had broken up and they are doing their last two shows in October, I felt a big empty in my perfect little world that the local music scene had become. You can go and read about the bull shit brake up details on their page and many other fan pages that does nothing else but to extend this great loss. This is the second big band we have lost in the area; Voodoo Blue is the other great band that is playing their last show in the near future. This news suck for the fans and for those that were on route to becoming fans. My take on seeing bands braking up is kinda like a splitting marriage because it boils down for the most part to lack of communication. If communication aint in place to basically iron out issues before they become problems then these issues are bound to grow and eventually take its toll. This is a two way street; on bands its a freakin' job from all the members to say whats up. It is sad to see such talent dissapear but, whats been desided upon needs to be respected. I myself am married, my gurl and me have our ups and downs but yet we choose to continue in our relationship/marriage because we believe in it. Keeping communication lines open about how things are going or NOT GOING and finding ways of adressing probable issues are the way to go. Punking out and calling it quits is the most practical way of dealing with any type of relationships because its easy....anyone can do it....you can only get away with this for so long before realizing that things do need to be worked out and a problem solving system is in place. This should apply to bands in all aspects. I guess i'm letting this out because it does pain me to see something good vanish and not being able to do nothing about it but to encourage ways to make things work out. To the boyzz from H*H--ECR wishes you all the best in what it is that you do...We support you all and hope you all succeed on your upcoming projects. Hope its not a bitter farewell...xXxECRxXxAug 22nd, 2007 TT's updateWow, after the last 2 weeks we are truly feeling the love here at TT's. Holly Fookin' Chit! I said it before and I'll Say it again Havok in Hollywood Rocks! Taking the hour drive to see the boys from H*H play for their homebased fans was well freakin worth it! Seeing H*H at home playing in their environment is like adding another member to the band. I've seen them rock in different areas in VA...the band kicks ass no matter where they play...but seeing the crowd get into it in VA and MD is like day and night. no punt intended cuz i'm a va fellow too...but...thats how it is. Some Plusses about the show...H*H kicked some fookin' ass...the band was more energetic this time around. Venue Sound...fletcher's is a small second floor venue that has an awesome sound...beats the hell out of some other bigger places I've seen. Some Negatives....a big freakin neg is that i didnt get to see the opening bands due to the pit stop we made on the way up to BAL...i'm sure i'm not alone on this one but I wish H*H would have played more tunes since it was a sat night...I know this was a home coming and ya'll probably needed a break...but comeone...throwing in a few extra tunes before taking a few days off from touring would have been like a gift to the fans...cut me some slack boyzzz 9 tunes wasnt good enough for the H*H blue balled fans! Another neg would be that this is not the place to get drunk and stupid like me at times cuz it has a few flights of stairs and a few-on the floor-ramps..you'll bust ya ass if you cant walk straight.July 24th, 2007 Sup Ya'll...HERE IS THE FEATURED ARTIST AT xXxEASTCOASTROxXx: IRRATIONAL. Check out this band we spotted and picked up from a couple of video clips on MS. If you are into electro rock and good music, then this is for you. Irrational flexes their dark side on their 2007 independent release "Loyalty is everything". Check out the track playing at ECR or their own site at myspace.com/irrational. I might have to make some plans to go check them out in August when they play at the BACKBOOTH in Orlando. Too bad the boys havent planned on playing shows outside their home town area of Orlando, FLA...cant wait until they hit the road. In the mean time check out this article written by Marissa Mikolak from Stateronline.com (Contact off-campus entertainment reporter Marissa Mikolak at [email protected].)and also some vids below! Peace! xXxECRxXxIrrational is composed of Jason Tropf (vocals/guitar), Garrett Jankowski (bass/second vocals), Andrew Rajala (keyboard/electronics), Aaron Smekal (drums) and Raf Rivera (guitar). The band's hard rock sound and darker image are born of a variety of influences such as Nine Inch Nails, Sevendust and Smashing Pumpkins."We are generally influenced by music with a thick guitar sound and aggressive yet melodic rock," Tropf said. While Irrational's music style is eclectic, its image is "a Jane's Addiction kind of style.""We all wear the darker colors and eyeliner," Rivera said. "The image is actually a little darker than the music."Those attending the Irrational show can expect to hear a wide range of music style."The show is gonna be pretty loud, epic rock, but we still have our ballads," Jankowski said. "We have energetic spurts at times and other times our music is real melodic."Irrational's show includes songs from its first CD, Anomaly, new songs and quite a bit of crowd interaction."We really interact with the crowd," Smekal said. "We usually crack about 50 jokes on stage and laugh with the crowd."They also attempt to get the crowd as physically involved as possible."We encourage the fans to mosh and have as much fun as they can without getting kicked out," Smekal said.Irrational included Kent in its tour after CD sales were successful in Northeast Ohio. The band has been selling Anomaly, which was released last year, on the Internet and has been monitoring its sales."We have a map and every time a CD is sold, we put a pin in the area where the sale was made," Jankowski said. "We seem to have a pretty good following in Northeast Ohio."The band recorded Anomaly about a year ago."Anomaly means a freak of nature," Tropf said. "It's a lot like the way we're all influenced by different artists, which is why the songs are unique."Irrational operates from a do-it-yourself standpoint - the tour is self-managed and funded."We are grass roots to the nth degree," Tropf said. "We do all of our own work - it keeps things very real."Irrational uses its music to send life-related messages to the crowd."We have a song called 'Revolt' and it is basically about finding out and sticking to the kind of person you truly are," Tropf said. "We really attempt to include the crowd into that concept."Life issues, both positive and negative, are important to this band."Our inspiration has to do with many things," Jankowski said. "A lot of it is just life in general."**Marissa Mikolak from Stateronline.com**.."http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d

IRRATIONALBAND.COMJuly 23rd, 2007 With that in mind (the buzz) mah partna' in crime and mahself managed to get a side music project going....we're finally going to freakin' write music after a well awaited 10 yrs. The project's name you ask? its going to be Called "Jenny's Crank" or something that similates that name. Its been a busy two months for me and wes but watch out for this cool band to be taking the Featured Artist Spot.....you wont fookin' be Dissapointedddd!!!!it will rock your ballzzz offff kidzzzz.......!!!!!....Peace!July 22nd, 2007 oh shit!! its been one hell of a fookin' weekend up here in VA. I had some friends kidnap me on friday for mah bday and had a fookin' beer and liquor fest through the weekend with some real good freinds (and friends i handn't seen in many years)...Thanks for chillin' ya'll! I tell you what, I sure dont drink like a few years back but i sure freakin' tried to keep up and i'm still paying for it with a 2 day hang over...this suxXx. hey thanks to the people that posted those sweet bday comments and that also mailed them...I really appreciated them.July 8th, 2007 Sup All....for those of you that are into latin rock....its time for it at the State Theater TONITE at 8PM. Pedro Suarez Vertiz from Peru, South America will be rocking the HOUZZZZ. This show is supposed to sell out...so get there early...and...Lets Rock!!! Recap of the Show: Today was a fun and rocking day. I normally dont listen to latin rock but I decided to broaden my horizons and take a peak at how the music from way down south sounded like. It was pretty cool, even though its in a different language, it had some different beats, guitar riffs, and melodys that were very original and creative. It was sure entertaining and the ladies got into the hot beats...they brought their sexy dances to the floor and.....I ENJOYED IT!! Again, this is the second latin show in a row i've seen where the band showed up almost 2 hours late (is that a trade mark of latin bands?) and people were impatient since it was Sunday and it was supposed to be a late show. Even though the band apoligized as they took the stage, it is now engraved in my mind that the next time i see latin rock show, the band will be late. I know not all bands are the same, some bands actually are aware that people do work the next day for living. Anyways...i dont want to sound like a prick...but when fans do pay $40 bones for a show...some kind of schedule needs to be kept to ensure a close to an on time start of the show.....not to mention that was the only band playing......so BANDSTHIS IS WHAT NOT TO DO.  There I said it!July 6th, 2007 Argentinian Rock band Ratones Paranoicos came to the Falls Church, VA area. Ratones Paranoicos which translated is Paranoic Mice, came down from their home away from home N.Y., to let us taste their brand of Rock. This band has rocked for about 20 years in the latin rock scene and are a pretty well known band. Ratones play a brand of loud rock that is in between; its not heaviest nor the mellowest rock out there but it sure had their loyal crowd rocking. About 400 of their local fans were at the venue who immediately began to slam dance into one another as the tunes began to rock. (It was a bit odd watching people slam into one another to a kind of rock that is in a similar category as the Rolling Stones lol.) Although the Ratones did show up late to start rocking, they sure made it up by playing nearly two hours and then coming out for an encore. This was a kool night for latin rock because there is no other rock like Argentinian Rock. Cant wait for Gustavo Cerati, Los Violadores, .....to come around! fookin' treat for the ears.June 30th, 2007 Well, here we are at the end of June. I hope you all are having a good start to summer. For the Families of a couple of friends...it was a time to reflect due to the loss of two of their family members who i'm proud to have known and called buds. On my end I did a bit of reflection as well. I did take some time off to spend with close friends and family. for those of you that knew Joe Towers....A celebration of his life will be held at Alcova Heights Park in Arlington on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. The park is located at the corner of South 7th Street and George Mason Drive. For what it's worth, at times we often think that those that we know...might be around for a while....to bring us that stability and friendship that we dont think can be taken away...until that time comes and i hope it doesnt come....we should recognize that person/people that is/are part of our life and enjoy life. ROCK ON IN THE AFTER LIFE MARTY AND JOE!!  June 9th, 2007 The State Theater hosted a concert show which was made up by Headlining Heavy Weights Bella Morte whom had just returned from a series of shows in Europe. They were supported by Chrysalis, 23 Rainy Days and Rites of Ash (all DC Locals) I got to be honest, I was there to check out Chrysalis who had just released 3 new KICK ASS tracks on my space days prior to the show; this left very high expectations about the band. I couldn't be more anxious to check them out they were back with a stage apearance (two guitars, a drummer and an iMac), New Tunes, New EP, New Logo, and last but not least their awesome tunes from their first album...THE FOOKIN' WORKS!. Finally, After a long awaited return, Chrysalis made their way as the opening number. Keeping in mind that it had been a YEAR since their last performance in VA, i thought they were going to be a bit rusty...how freakin' wrong i was.....the boys sure enough pleased their audience, not only they had brought back everything else expected but then SOME....it was awesome. I basically summed it all up on a message i left the boys on their freakin page at www.myspace.com/chrysalis (who knows if they read it.....oh wait...they have the must approve feature lol) "Damn guys that show at the State Theater blew me away! It sure is a different line up, sound and a different stage vibe...but its fresh, kool and rocking. The more digital approach was something I haven't really seen a band master in this area yet...but you guys pulled it off and it (FOOKIN')rocked; you could tell by the crowd you all drew as the first act HELL YEAHZZ'..." I'm sure i wasnt the only one looking forward to this show...Keep Rocking Boyzzz! Chrysalis' Upcoming Shows:Jul 7 2007 8:00P Jaxx         Springfield, VA(All Ages Benefit Show)Jul 14 2007 8:00P Jaxx         Springfield, VA (All Ages)Sep 8 2007 10:00P Velvet Lounge Washington DC June 3rd, 2007 PI Independence Day-Washington DC. The Philippine Independence day held in Washington DC on was an event packed with some rocking action. It freakin' rained the whole day but it didnt keep bands like P.I., The Speaks and Broken Boulevard from taking the stage. The event went from 11 AM till 6 PM. I got to admit that this was the coolest independence day I've bumped into, not only they had a caged in beer vendor in the middle of the street across from the U.S. Capitol but they also had friendly people, good looking girls, munchies and a free outdoor concert. What else can you ask for?! You all can bet on me being there next year. Keep this event in mind. Throwdown May 24-27, 2007 **Featured Local Event of the Year was the freakin' Throwdown**...who's with me! May 13th, 2007 **Featured Band Slapshock**I was first introduced to Slapshock in 2003 during a trip I took to the Philippines. I was sitting watching the tube over a San Miguel and here came a Band by the name of Slapshock rocking to a live tune called "Windshield" on a show called "MYX". After the 30 min show, I was blown away by their skillfull rhythm section, brut lyrics and overall band performance. Shit...I got to admit, the following day I went to a Mall in Pangasinan and got me their 3 CDs they had put out; 4th Degree Burn, Headtrip and Project 11-41. After listening to their 3 Albums, I was blown away by their craftmanship of their tunes that were predominantly sang in english; they also had some tunes in Spanish and Tagalog. No need to say this was a much infectious, fresher, hard and different sound than I was accustomed back in the US at the time (U know all that corporate rock main stream shit that I was sick off---and on a different note thank god for the EastCoast local rock scene that was starting to give birth). After reading up on the band I found out that the Singer Jamir Garcia from Slapshock grew up in the VA Local Rock Scene. Jamir was the singer for local VA Beach Rock band Bruce Lee's Curse prior to packing his bags and moving to PI to join the already formed Slapshock. Because Jamir helped Slapshock evolve to the next level and contributed in becoming the premier hard rock band in the Philippines and resonate over Asia, ECR found it necesary to mention that Jamir was influenced and is part of the East Coast Rock Scene Brew that continues.CHECK OUT THE BLOG SECTION FOR MORE ON SLAPSHOCK. May 12th, 2007 The Voices From The Homefront Festival Concert took place on May 12th. Such Acts as Spilt, Rezin, Aggromatic, The Speaks, Fall Away and Cadillac Rock Box performed throughout the day and rocked the stage for their fans. The mood of the show was very supportive, intimate and friendly where the bands got to chill with their fans prior and after their performance. Bands like Agromatic, Fall Away and Cadillac Rock Box who I havent seen in the past, along with the other bands I've seen, rocked and fullfilled my crave for a live rock show I needed on this day. I was impressed about the area in which the festival was held on, it is an open soccer field that can hold a really big crowd. If or When the event returns next year, it is a must attend festival not only because it is an event that benefits our veteran/current service men and women but also because its a good chance to check out bands from the hot bed for musical talent that the mid East Coast region has become. Mad props to the Loud and Local for organizing this event, American Post Legion 72 and the promoters of the show. April 18th, 2007 Ozomatli is a band that deserves a look at. Up until April 18th, I had only heard about their live energetic shows but hadn't really experienced it. On this day, I heard something I had not heard before. Picture a blend of Funk, Hip Hop, Rock, Salsa, Dub, Cumbia, Reggae and to top it all off high energy lyrics sang both in English and Spanish that were fun and yet called out the shortfalls of society...THATS OZOMATLI. During this day, they appeared in Falls Church, VA where about 900 of their fans were part of an experience like no other that basically celebrated the joy of partying, having fun and rocking to their high energy tunes with no compromise. To really describe their show would take me a couple of myspace pages....so in short ITS A MUST EXPERIENCE SHOW! xXxEastCoastRoxXxHere is a little something from Ozomatli's BIO:"The band’s dedication to addressing social justice issues—a hallmark of Ozomatli’s work ever since the band formed in 1995 as part of a local labor protest—continues on Don’t Mess With The Dragon. The blazing “Temperatura†was inspired by the May 2006 pro-immigration marches (“We wanted people to take it to the streets and turn up the heat,†says Wil-Dog) and “Magnolia Soul†rebukes the Bush administration for their lack of Katrina relief.  “Ozomatli take their name from the Nahuatl word for the Aztec astrological symbol of the monkey, which is also a god of dance, fire, the new harvest, and music. The members of the band met through their affiliation with the Peace and Justice Center of Los Angeles, and their first performance was for picketers during a strike. They began their career in the Los Angeles and San Diego/Mexico border-area club scene. Following an appearance in Vibe magazine, the group broke into the mainstream, releasing Ozomatli, their self titled debut album, in June 1998 under the Almo Sounds label.Ozomatli's second album, Embrace the Chaos, was released on the inauspicious date of September 11 2001. Although many American bands cancelled their concerts, Ozomatli gained some recognition for continuing to play their concerts,[citation needed] all the while continuing their commitment to social justice and progressive politics, in addition to the rising anti-war movement. Afterwards, the band made a further commitment to a new direction in music, embracing North African and Arab musical styles in addition to their own.The musical styles of many cultures are blended on 2004's Street Signs, with vocals mentioning the Yakuza crossing paths with gnawa trance; or Moroccan sintir virtuoso Hassan Hakmoun, joining the band along with Les Yeux Noirs and the Prague Symphony Orchestra. Also accompanying are David Hidalgo of Los Lobos and Mario Calire of The Wallflowers. The salsa pioneer Eddie Palmieri, who is on the Concord Jazz label, is a featured performer on Street Signs. In 2005, Street Signs won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album. In late 2006 DJ Spinobi left the band to pursue personal projects, and to date has not been replaced.April 3, 2007 saw the release of their 4th studio album Don't Mess With The Dragon which was co-produced by KC Porter.â€(Wikipedia.com "Ozomatli". April 10th, 2007 Legendary Rock Band Los Enanitos Verdes from Argentina played at the Packed State Theater drawing over 1,000 loyal fans from the Northern Virginia area on their only local show. From the time the Doors opened to the time the band took the stage Fans Kept pouring in through the doors taking a total of 3 hours to pack the venue WOW!!! Once the Band took the stage their fans sang to their lyrics remenecing the vibe felt during the 80's Spanish Rock wave that swept Latin America. During the 80's such acts like Soda Stereo, Los Violadores, Virus, Abuelos de la Nada, etc, flooded all major South American radio stations with their new brand of rock that was bald, in your face and fresh. The Band also treated their fans by playing a cover tune from "Los Abuelos De La Nada-Mil Horas" I had the Oportunity to hang out backstage with the band briefly, where the Marciano, Felipe and Daniel conducted interviews with local Latino Radio Stations. The band remains close with their fans no matter where they play. After the show they hang out outside the state theater with their fans taking pictures, talking and signing autographs. After being together for 23 years they still can rock and sure as hell pack a house! xXxEastCoastRoxXxLos Enanitos Verdes "Little Green Dwarfs", but more accurately considered equivalent to the phrase "Little Green Men") is a successful rock group from Argentina, formed in 1979 in the city of Mendoza. Throughout their career they have managed to gain important positions on Argentine and Latin American charts.***"Courtesy of Wikipedia-Los Enanitos Verdes"  April 8th, 2007 The CD Release party @ The Recher Theater KICKED ASS! We're proud of the H*H boys.
