Where ever I lay my hat - that's my home.

About Me

Born in, Manchester, England. Living and working at a school in Phuket, Thailand now. Like to meet new and interesting people for fun, food, drinks and dancing. Like sailing and have recently bought a second hand Laser dinghy which is great fun. Like good food, great conversation, laughs and a few beers. I like looking at the slightly odd things in life, and taking a different view of things where ever possible. Would love to find enough decent vegetarian restaurants in Thailand to stop me eating the same food every other day. Grrrrrr - this will all change when I am king of the world. Arggrghahah haha hah hah haha..My superhero profile. Quite accurate i think you'll agree.Your results:

My Interests

Pro frisbee and loafing on the beach, riding motorbikes. Meeting new and interesting people. Music and enjoying life. Bodyboarding on my Ron Holland limited edition body board. Travel. Spent about 6 months travelling around India and loved and hated it in equal measures. Will definitely go back someday though as i want to see Kashmir, Assam and Darjeeling. Sailing my Laser dinghy in the lovely warm waters off the coast of Phuket. Downhill clog racing wearing laederhosen.

I'd like to meet:

My grandparents. Or anyone else who is interesting and fun loving. Kooky people. Slight oddballs, people with bizarre or off-beat ways of looking at life. Heavilly tatooed women. Whale-hunters to ask them "why?"

Music:

Yes. Anything toe tapping. Prefer dance music, the harder the better, like rock music too - hard and fast. But i like Simon and Garfunkle and Robbie Williams too. I dont like to be pigeon holed according to my musical tastes. I like whatever i happen to be in the mood for. Cut my teeth on slightly underground music and am still an old hippy at heart.

Movies:

Highlander. In the end, there can be only one. The Life of Brian - taught me everything i need to know about religion. Shawshank Redemption - taught me how to beat the system and win. Meet the Parents - taught me that adults can still laugh at silly things. Trainspotting - taught me everything i needed to know about drugs. Pulp Fiction. Team Amearica - taught me that Americans CAN be funny.

Television:

No. Generally T.V. is for people who are too lazy to discover real life. I will maybe watch the news or documentaries though. Oh and the Simpsons of course - taught me everything I need to know about philosophy.

Books:

Without a doubt the best book ever written, The Count of Monte Cristo, followed by To Kill a Mocking Bird, the Grapes of Wrath and also The da Vinci Code.

Heroes:

The Count of Monte Cristo, because I am ever so slightly vengeful. Eric Cantona - because he was a genius, mad man, and a brilliant footballer.
