..This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5 In the world of modern music it seems that everything has been done or is being done to the point of exhaustion. Luckily there is ONE-LESS, to shatter through the noise, through the stage, and through the minds of those who think that aggressive metal is dead. Armed with thier background of everything from hardcore to thrash, ONE-LESS is the ultimate combination and reincarnation of heavy music. Painfully powerfull and potent guitars, driven by head splitting drumbeats, forms the heart of this lethal musical equation, that when multiplied by the vicious dual vocals, equals -1. Blast-beats giving way to scream-along choruses, teased with a melody and then slammed right into a grindcore break down, is just a sample of what this phenomenon from Lynn, Massachusetts has to offer the musical world. Listeners are not only woken up, but broken up, reassembled and made ready to stomp! This hard hitting four piece, formed in 1996, has through the years reshaped and solidified into the thunder that rumbles audiences today. Started by Sean Batchelder (drums), ONE-LESS landed on the metal scene with force and after just a short time, earned respect for their uncanny ability to incinerate the crowd. In 2000 they were joined by Jeremy Louisos for extra crunch of a second guitarist. Through a gowth period, 2 years later, Rob Powers stepped in and the band made their biggest jump; to have Jeremy and Rob pair up on vocals and guitars, giving them the sound the world fiends for today. The final piece was the addition of Marc LaSala (bass) to make the stage show the ultimate hardcore slaughter fest. ONE-LESS has taken every and any show that has come their way, allowing them to share the stage with national bands such as: Hatebreed, Unearth, Sam Black Church, Black Label Society, Disturbed, Today Is The Day, Cannae, Godsmack, Nonpoint, Candy Striper Death Orgy, Meliah Rage, Dogfight, RA, and countless other local and/or unsigned bands. They have played festivals and dives alike, spanning across the U.S.. From halls, to clubs, to major venues, ONE-LESS is unescapable. ONE-LESS has released four albums and their latest self-titled ep includes six songs from the bands extensive hardcore library. Recording with the likes of Steve Austin (from Today Is the Day), at Austin Enterprises, and also at Jeremy and Sean's Full Gringo Recordings, ONE-LESS has continued to release their deafening sound to the over-anxious masses.
