[email protected]Sergio Mega - one of the pioneers in Ukrainian electronic dance music who has made enormous efforts to promote this new, striking art.Being neglected in the former Soviet Union more than for 30 years electronic dance music had been existed and unanimously accepted in Western Europe - by the whole civilized society where art was always cherished and ravished by its fans! Since Perestroika electronic dance music gained its position and Sergio Mega started organizing dance music club shows and acted as DJ Megabeat where parties and sessions were arranged in collaboration with associates, fans and promoters which had grown into gigs and raves.Late 90-ies were a period of active DJ-ing and producing. Mega was invited as a DJ to Croatian tour: Zagreb - Zadar - Uglian, Passman - Split - Dubrovnik (1998). At that time Sergio had authors radio show at RadioAktivnost - FM broadcast dance music radio station (1998 - 1999). When his own studio was established, Sergio was invited by fashion designers to create soundtracks for fashion shows (2000 - 2001 - 2003), to make scene soundtrack for live hair dress shows (2002), soundtrack to theatrical performance Salvador Dali (2004) also Sergios track Get down was performed on theatrical scene. InOctober 2005, 2006, 2007 Mega represented Ukraine at Amsterdam Dance Event. Sergios tracks Trust me and I'm your extasy (Electric ambient mix / Spinoza were included to soundtrack of film Happy People (Program of Berlin International Cinema Festival 2006)Another one Megas passion is traveling as music existence is inseparable from the world of nature treasuries, art, history and architecture. Being a multitalented person Sergio was inspired by traveling for getting new understanding of humans being and modern art. Namely, his travel to India and acquaintance with Goa, hi theatrical education as well, helped him to form new conception combining in music Oriental philosophy and Western thinking and outlook.In October 2004 Sergio has got an invitation to participate in Musicmesse exhibition in Frankfurt where he met Niels von Geyer - German DJ and producer who works for Ministry of Sound Berlin, Kosmo, Great Stuff Recordings etc. It determined creation of Megas own independent Record Label - Creative Technologies Studio and stimulated the origin of album Synthetic People made in eclectic club style, that consist of dance vibes of 90th; innovations of synth pop and electro; synthetic, gum sounds; hybrid of techno - house whipped drums; polyhedral guitar sound; real life noises, deep bass and international vocalists staff (2005). Being a gifted musician, composer, songwriter and arranger, having profound knowledge and perfect background, Sergio is working in the field of cinema and performance, pop events and massive shows. He is well-known to those who appreciate real art and music. He works by himself and has his own label. Creative Technologies Studio - CTS is one of the first independent record labels in Ukraine that preferably works in electronic dance music. The label gives preference to editing a music based on rich traditions of dance and club culture all over the world. It comprises best and newest achievements of dance genres and directions of modern music.
