Musick is my first true passion. I am an Audio Engineer by training, trade and some other shit. I aspire to be the next Scott Burns. Though I don't want to limit myself to recording strictly metal. To be pigeonholed into a genre or category can be detrimental. You won't grow as a person. I want to constantly challenge myself in and out of the studio.

I have a love of all musick across the board. An Audio Engineer, in my mind, needs to be well rounded musically. By choice, mind you. But, my heart lies with the metal.... especially Obituary's "Cause of Death". That album with James Murphy is brilliant. So emotional. The entire album sends shivers up my spine to this day. So haunting....
My latest addiction is old Bluegrass the likes of Jimmie Rodgers... Delta Blues are cool by me, too. I've always loved Jazz, but know hardly a thing about it.... all I know is that it accompanied with the BBC World Service hourly reports are the best damn way of waking up in the morning.
I also record bands when I get the chance. I've recorded several major sessions with The Unsettlers who have recently uprooted from Bangcouver (Home of the Headbang, I'm told) to go to the frozen riveria of Montreal to pursue fame and fortune.
I hope they don't get sick of the smoked meat sandwiches. They're good for the first pound and a half and fucking disgusting after that.
It's an eery little projEKt. As I mix it down I may post some on a future website and will link to it. That's if I ever get a few days to myself to simmer and settle down.
When you work 7 days a week, 9 - 15 hours a day, you get a little edgy.
I work as a Boom Operator for TV & Film...

I've just been accepted in to ACFC West as a Permittee Boom Operator... so, that's kinda exciting. IATSE Local 891 is next. Then the mad pay starts rolling in... along with the long hours.

I think I may be a LITTLE obsessed with dark & evil imagery, though... obsessed with the grotesque.
