About Me

To make it short, here is a little information about me as a musician and person. I started playing music when I was in 6th grade (11 or so), went to Sheldon High School in Sacramento, and recieved my Bachelor's in Music Education in 2006 from the University of the Pacific. While there, I studied with Lenny Ott and Patrick Langham as well as members of the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet. While in college I had the opportunity to play with many jazz greats such as Dave Brubeck, Christian McBride, Bobby Watson, Conrad Herwig, Donald Brown, Steve Wilson, Willie Jones III, Lewis Nash, Jimmy Heath, and established members of the Brubeck Institute. Recently, I auditioned for Grad School and have been accepted to (and will attend) The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and will be working on a Master's in Jazz Studies.
