In every downtrodden and slum-filled project, there lies a special talent. A talent that is waiting for his/her big break to relieve themselves and their families from their current broken situation. But to whom much is given, much is required. However, not much seems to be given to these hidden talents, so the talented are forced to wait for their right time. But for me, I am tired of sitting, and I am tired of waiting; my time is now! This is K-Nova.Born Reginald Etheridge, an ATL representative, was raised in the heart of the new music Motown, never knowing that out of him would come such an extraordinary entertainer. Being raised in a single parent household was no easy task. Growing up with two younger sisters, he was forced to put childish games to the side and take charge of his household. Being a part of a family with a strong Christian foundation gospel was always the family preference, but K-Nova fell in love with rhythm and blues. Although he was an active choir member throughout his youth he found at an early age his vocal blessings were to be used in other arenas. While listening to the sounds of Ron Isley, Sam Cooke, and Boyz II Men, he realized that in order to completely fulfill Gods gift he must follow and set his own musical paths. Through their influence and his innate talent, he realized that he could give life through words, particularly love-inspired. But what is love without the truth; a lie. So K-Nova seeks to bring back truth through all that he knows--God, family, and being real. His truth is that no one can stop you from succeeding but yourself, and a man without a plan is lost.Groomed by Atlantas own legendary Raheem the Dream, he is no rookie to the game. Although at a tender age, K-Nova was influential in one of the most trend-setting singles of Raheems career, The Most Beautiful Girl. He has since evolved into a 23-year-old phenom who has written and recorded with the likes of Case, Grammy nominee Eric Cire (Mariah Carey), Yung Joc (Bad Boy South), Walter Mucho Scott (formerly of Teddy Rileys R&B group Basic Black, just to name a few, henceforth showing that the mans catalog speaks for itself.Now it is time to let the world see and know about the talent that has been hidden far too long. He calls it the best kept secret and someone has let it leak to the world. But this was no mistake; it was perfect timing, and time (K-Nova) waits for nothing.
