Building a rep in the rap game with or without a record deal is no easy task. G.B has been recording and performing every since his preteens. "It was crazy being in high school and opening up for artist such as Three Six Mafia, Youngbloodz, Cash Money, UGK, Goodie Mob, Too short.........(too many to name)," says the humble G.B. This was all due to a good friend and now manager Wallo da Shotcalla from Neighborhood Superstars, the same promotions company that helped Lil Scrappy, Trillville, Crime Mob, and Young Capone sign major deals. But the MC known as G.B (a childhood nickname created from his initials) is a testament to the power of word-of-mouth. In 2001, the Atlanta,Ga representative caught the ear of MCA Records A&R execs after being featured on 3 tracks with friend/label mate Archie Eversole's (Phatboy/MCA Records) national debut release "Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style". "Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style" contained the Billboards Top 100 hit "We Ready". This allowed G.B to gain local and national attention. But in 2003, while in the process of inking a major deal, the label folded. "It was a disappointment but it was out of my control," says G.B. This encouraged G.B to put his career in his own hands. Since then he along with his childhood friends, now business partners, created their own imprint Fast Lane Money. Fast Lane is much more than music it's a movement which started on the Eastside streets of Atlanta. STAY TUNED..............
