Stallions, scorpions, bears, OH MY!

About Me

Hi, my name is Jason and I play bass and sing back-ups for the Chicago band The Playoff. Prior to joining the band I was a working actor of the stage, television, and film. You may remember me as "the guy wearing a winter hat" during a scene on the "L" train in the movie Save The Last Dance. Or perhaps as "the awkwardly smirking because he didn't know if the camera was on him or not bartender" on the past CBS show Early Edition. My elbow and part of my jacket can be seen in various other roles as well. But, as fate would have it, I set down the script and picked up the bass guitar.....Grammy before Oscar, I guess. But enough about me........Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0

My Interests

music, acting, bass guitar and such. But probably more so than the latter, I love Halloween. Everything Halloween just sits right with me. The sky. The ground, the smells the surroundings. All very peaceful to me during that time. I wish it would last longer.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to have breakfast with Paul McCartney. I would love to have lunch with Weird Al Yankovic. I would love to have dinner with Darian Cain. I would love to have a snack with a stray cat. I would love to go drinking with Harrison Ford. I would then love Tim Burton to pick me up and drop me off back at my house.

Music:

The Playoff, Texpert, The Beatles, Millencolin, The Smoking Popes, The Who, The Vandals, Dion And The Belmonts, The Kingston Trio, Alkaline Trio, The Ataris, The Get Up Kids, Split Habit, Alice Cooper, "the man in black", Led Zepplin, CCR, Wings, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers and so many more.....

Movies:

The Indiana Jones movies, The Goonies, (much of Spielberg's work), The Nightmare Before Christmas, Soldiers In The Rain, anything Troma, the Halloween movies, Christmas Evil, any of the "Earnest" movies, all of the Rocky movies, all of the Star Wars movies, Mistress Frankenstein, Glenngary Glennross, The Odd Couple, The Apartment, The Days Of wine And Roses (basically, any Jack Lemmon movie), and the Texpert dvd.

Television:

Basically, the Weather Channel, the History Channel, ESPN, the Food Network, the Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel, Animal Planet, and any scrambled porn that I can't afford to subscribe to.

Books:

Anything Edgar Allen Poe. Pop-up books are cool, but only in moderation for they can be very stressful. I have a vast collection of theatrical scripts which embrace me the most.

Heroes:

My God, my family, my beautiful Jessica, my little buddy tapper, the L.B.G.H., my friends, The Playoff.
