Bizz Entertainment has offically been in opperation since Aug 2006, but JBizz has been in the Canadian Entertainment Industry over 20 yrs now. Starting out with BEATFACTORY as a recording artist, JBizz (RAGGA J) and group member Blast formed "Split Personality" and signed a recording deal with A&M Records in 1993. R.J soon made the transition from being signed to a major label to working for one. The intern opportunity was give to him by EMI MUSIC CANADA; where he, Lilx and Black Katt became Canada's first official street team. EMI's "Kickin DA Flava" compilation cd (released in 94) was Canada's first of its kind, featuring foundation groups BOOGIE MONSTERS/GANG STARR/DREAM WARRIORS/US3/ SPEARHEAD/LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND/DIGABLE PLANET and many more. Upon completion of there internships, R.J took a break from the industry. On his return from the US, R.J fell right back into the industry. This time working for childhood friends DREAM WARRIORS as their tour manager, KING LU gave RAGGA J the name "JBizz". JBizz was now under the tutelage of IVAN BERRY, where to this date JBizz is still able to use the skills he learned.Upon return from a tour JBizz walked into a digital recording store and there starting his music production career. Taking advantage of his friendships, JBizz was able to work and produce tracks for Melky Jean/ Fonzworth Bently/Foxy Brown/ Belinda Brady/ Jewelz Jones and more. While on a trip back from Chi Town from a booking date for Power "Soul Controllers Prod", JBizz struck up a conversation with a gentleman who introduced himself as WARREN BACKMAN and scheduled a meeting for the following week. Within weeks from that meeting, JBizz was now working for this man in his marketing and promotions dept. Did I mention that WB is the CEO of THEORY ENT who owns the license for ROC-A-WEAR in CANADA? JBizz work his way up to SR VP of BUSINESS OPERATIONS for one of his other companies, MIRROR IMAGE WORLD MEDIA GROUP. As you can see, J is about the BIZZ! Currently JBizz is Co-Founder and Head of Business Operations for Little X Ice Gear Exclusive Athletic Clothing Line, as well as percentage holder in a new mobile hardware and service HIVE MOBILITY; which debut on the runway with designer Pat McDonagh at the 2007 L'Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto. MY ADVICE... NEVER TAKE A "NO" FROM SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE THE POWER TO SAY "YES"
