I Forgive Everyone and Everyone Forgives Me. The Gates Swing Open for My Good.

About Me

Alafia I pray all is well. I give thanks and praises to the Creator, the Orishas and All of those that came before me. Journeying through this lifetime I have discovered that there has always been something buried deep inside of me that pleads with the universe for the betterment of our people. Growing up in the south, I have been exposed to the historical relationship between Africans and the Americas. I'm here to carry with me stories of relatives that were killed by racism. I carry stories of women in my family that have been hurt by adultery, by abuse, and by irresponsibility. I carry with me the men that have been oppressed and dehumanized. And with the weight of the world on my shoulders, I walk towards the healing that we as a people need in order for us all to stand on our own. I give thanks and praises to Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade and IIASK Institute for teaching me how to walk that path that reconnects my spirit with those of my egun, the orishas, and the creator. I may from time to time stumble, fall, or even drop my load, but I am still on my path to Happiness. It is my Birthright. One Love Ase Myspace Backgrounds
