This line is dedicated to a whole new generation of musicians, to get an idea of which you just need to come and take a look at Marilena Borgna’s photos. Stealing images from back-stages, tour-buses and photo-shoots, Marilena Borgna has managed to build up a very clear portrait of  a generation of young people who live a true modern Rock & Roll life style. Boys and girls who need to play music to survive in this tough world. Marilena Borgna manages to create a truly visual language through her photography, maybe the only one capable of describing this attitude towards life. Attitude that is probably the real protagonist of this story in pictures. Images that immediately give us the feel, and a direct understanding, of this way of life, and which can’t be compared to any other lifestyle today.   And the  presence of  myths such as Mick  Jones, Shane MacGowan and Perry Farrell among others, testify even better how  Rock & Roll has always been a continuous flow of experience and passion.  This doesn’t claim to be a serious report, but in actual fact becomes one the  very moment one looks at the series of pictures that will be on show at the  Boogaloo throughout  December. And the Boogaloo seemed the natural location to  show these photos first. This is where Marilena Borgna realized that this game  she had been playing with her camera had to become a serious activity, and  where she started to believe her eye had been able to capture not only  souvenirs for herself but something other people should have the chance to  share.
