About me:
It's not very often that professional sports and dance music go hand in hand and in Nathan's case there was no exception. As a semi pro football player he learnt that something had to give, his passion for music was in close battle with his love for football - It was the ball or the decks!!!!!!So in 1998 the decision was made, no more chase the ball around the pitch, it was Nathan's time to chase the pitch control. After bedroom mixing like most, Nathan built up the ability and confidence to earn his first break on a pirate radio station called Flava 87.6fm. After only a few months on the air Nathan was then offered a set on South London's original Flashback 97.6fm along side a group of friends called "The Aylesbury All-Stars". Nathan along with the All-stars began to build a solid reputation in the House & Garage scene and in 1998 the All-stars moved to a new station called Taste 92.5fm but soon after this Nathan realized being part of a group wasn't the right vibe for him. This was the beginning of the end of his love for House & Garage music and the scene that he had moved in for so long .In 1999 Nathan left the All-stars and took a break from djing and spent time on the other side of the decks, and soon realized that he was building a new love for HOUSE music. In 2000 Nathan returned to the airwaves with a primetime show on a new station in South London called Entice 95.5fm and also took on a show on the internet dance music station UK Rumble.com and soon began to earn the respect of the people that had doubted his decision to turn to his new love of House music. In the same year Nathan teamed up with a friend from the All-stars and formed a new promotion for South London's sexy stylish people called First Impressions.Time moved on and Nathan made his return to Flashback now on 99.3fm, but after only a year he felt it was time to move on. Nathan then moved to Shine 87.9fm with a Sunday show 2pm till 4pm. During this time Nathan formed a partnership with fellow dj Jimmy XL this is where XLJAY was born.Nathan since then has formed his own club night for the capitals sweetest sexiest people called CLUB SWEETNESS. On the launch night of CLUB SWEETNESS @ CLUB E3 there where 720 people inside the venue with another 250 left outside. A real success and the night has gone from strengh to strengh and has now got over 1000 members. You can also catch Nathan at his four London residences:- Sugar Rush Party @ Sin, Funk And Kandi @ R Bar, Yellow @ Live and Dreams Meets Dugsey Malone @ Blackheath Halls . Also watch this space for other uk bookings.
