Myspace LayoutsCarlos Alberto Northon Florez was born in South America, Argentina on 8th Dec 1975. His family all originate from Chile(South America). He and family emigrated from Argentina in 1976 to Scotland and came to London on his birthday 8th Dec 1988 were his story begins. Carlos got in to dj'ing while at school at the ripe old age of 14 yrs old were he started listening to Acid house and then moved on to hardcore, but it was when hardcore jungle came about that his interest grew by listening to the big pirates of the time like Defection fm, Kiss fm, Phantasy fm and Sunrise fm, Weekend Rush, and Kool fm, This is when his record collection started to grow. His big influences back then were dj's like Carl cox, Mix master max, lIeutenant Stitch and so on. His first break came even before he had his SL's and was still in practice when one of his old friend (Leon)told him that his dad was a Jungle promoter and had a free slot for him to play at a rave in Basingstoke (Love dove) and of course he jumped at the chance playing along side legends like Ray Keith and Brian G so you can imagine it was heaven on earth for him. From then Carlos then 'Red eye' got a slot on one of the big pirates Force fm playing along side dj's like dj Spectrum, F2 Dub, Rusha1,Nova, Mc Herb,G money, and Redbeard, but after a few years doing the pirates Carlos was introduced to Garage music buy blagging his way in to the infamous Scribbles night club on the Old Kent road, this was a totally new sound for him and instantly wanted to be part of that scene by listening to dj's Rushmore, Smiley, and now Choice fm's Andy b used to bang out the beats down there. Carlos soon blagged a slot down there and before he knew it he was offered a residency playing alongside Rushmore and Andy b (Happy days). Carlos has since done time on radio stations such as Upfront fm, Taste fm, Supreme fm, Flashback fm and now plays .. UK 86.9fm every Friday prime time 8 till 10pm. Since then his talent has taken him to play for some of the best promoters and clubs in ondon like Creme de la Creme @ EC1, Creme de la Creme @ Power house and Chocolate bar, Summer For Upfront fm @ Club Colloseum, Granaries in Croydon, Camden palace, Pop, Trinity @ Chunnel club, Gas club, Ministry of sound, Ananda lounge, Samanthas in west end, and so on to many to mention. His passion is music and now promotes one of the biggest nights going FOR THE LOVE OF HOUSE along side his sister Natalia and cousin Carlos Garcia so watch out for this promotion its taking over.
