Myspace LayoutsMy real name is Steve Rogers. During World War II, I tried to enlist into the military, but was turned away due to my frail and sickly body. I was given another chance to serve my country though, as a General overheard my rejection and offers me a chance to fight the Nazis by being a part of a top-secret experiment. I whole heartily agreed. I was given a super-solider serum and was blasted by a controlled burst of "Vita-Rays" that activated and stabilized the chemicals in my system and hurt like heck. After the process, my body was no longer sickly and frail but the pinnacle of human perfection. Unfortunately, the plans for the super-soldier serum were lost when a Nazi spy killed the scientist who kept the plans secreted away in his mind. I underwent extensive commando training and was soon put into action as Captain America, fighting Hitler and the Nazi oppressors. I fought on the homeland against saboteurs and on the frontlines in Europe with the Invaders. But my work was soon cut short when fighting Baron Zemo. Tied to a rocket with my sidekick, Bucky, I was too late in freeing us and the rocket exploded, killing Bucky and sending me to what seemed to be an icy grave in the harsh Atlantic Ocean. My frozen body was found decades later by the Sub-Mariner, and somehow, I survived. I have since gone on to lead the Avengers and fight for America with everything that I have.

My Interests

My number one interest now is keeping the Avengers together.

I'd like to meet:

Red Skull. . .partly for justice and partly for vengeance, but also because he's my nemesis. . .hmmm mainly vengeance.
