The multi-talented TV Personality and Producer Erik Bartik has been described as Cool, confident, and charismatic. It has been the young hip fresh faced Bartik’s lifelong dream to join the Stars and make his mark in the entertainment Industry. Since the very beginning he has made every effort to chase down his dream and to do whatever it takes to get the money shot. He’s got rock star edge and (not to mention rack hard abs). Canada’s legendary music and pop culture TV Station “MUCHMUSIC†quickly saw the Star potential in Bartik and after beating out thousands of other contestants in a nation wide search in over 32 cities and thousands of auditions later. MUCH chose Bartik to star in the stations hit reality TV show, where he went head to head with 20 other VJ’s in the ultimate entertainment industry free for all. He proved himself by flying around North America winning challenge after challenge taking him all the way to the live finale as part of the Top 3. The finale was held In downtown Toronto where the streets here closed and thousands of fans lined up along side the red carpet just to get a glimpse of the rising star. This is where he was dub Nickname the nickname "HOLLYWOOD" by industry professionals, and proved that he had developed a major fan base and loyal following who is making every move with him today! Erik has appeared on numerous National TV Shows and has been Featured in countless major magazines and Newspapers, From Entertainment Tonight Canada to STAR Daily TV. Recently the TORONTO STAR called Erik “a Pro that always gives a 150%â€and Fashion 18 magazine called Bartik “A VJ poster Boy.†While the Weekly Scoop magazine called Erik a “Rising Starâ€
Straight out of High school Bartik wasted no time at all and co-founded Parklane Entertainment with his big brother, which he still co-owns and operates today! Since then he has developed, produced, directed and hosted a wide verity of television programming under the Parklane Entertainment umbrella. The most popular being “In Action TV†a magazine style Entertainment show which created a buzz and received interest from MTV Canada and many other Networks abroad! Erik has interviewed some of Hollywood’s Hottest Stars from Grammy Award winners to Tinseltown’s A-listers and covered some of the industry’s biggest events. He has reported on everything in the entertainment industry from music, film, Television, sports and Fashion. And has covered story’s on everything from New York’s Fashion Week to the Oscars. Erik also has a passion for the music industry and is currently working with up and coming artist from Nashville, Vancouver, L.A., Toronto and Europe. Bartik has an educational background from the Canadian Screen Training Center (Ottawa) and B.C.I.T. (Vancouver) where he took Broadcast and Television management and Producing for Film and TV. In his free time Bartik also loves to give back to his community’s in Vancouver and L.A. by his involvement with underprivileged youth and bringing a positive message of following your dreams and staying focused on whatever you do, and always believing in yourself. Erik is an avid traveler and has made stops all across the globe from Panama to Prague and Reykjavik to the Bad lands and everywhere in-between.
