I reason, earth is short,
And anguish absolute.
And many hurt;
But what of that?
I reason, we could die:
The best vitality
Cannot excel decay;
But what of that?
I reason that in heaven
Somehow, it will be even,
Some new equation given;
But what of that?

Cannibal the Musical, Gentlemen Preffer Blondes, Shaun of the Dead, Boondock Saints, Soilent Green, Alice in Wonderland (the made for tv version), The Big Lebowski, actually, any Cohen Brothers movie... any apocolypse movies- even the really cheesey ones like "the day after tomorrow". Horror movies and Troma films, old love stories and most musicals.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Twilight Zone, any Stephen King mini series but especially The Stand, The Simpsons, LOST, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, King of the Hill, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Night Gallery, and The Outer Limits. Its a sickness but I'll watch any VH1's Behind the Music. Those marathons will kick my ass. Also, almost the best series ever made: Carnivale. Now I'm also into Jericho and Numbers, and I've developed a strange addiction to Bravo series like Top Chef and Top Design. I'm not really sure why...
A Streetcare Named Desire- number one all time favorite I keep a copy in my car. Anything Orson Wells, Arthur C. Clark, and most Stephen King. Ham on Rye, Getting Over Tom, Harry Potter (all of em), The Notebook, The Belljar, Angela's Ashes, Tennessee Williams Memoires, and most any poetry by Yeats, Bukowski, Dickenson, and Langston Hughes. Also now Wicked and Son of a Witch. Holy crap those books were good.
"Since Alice had never received any religious instruction, and since she had led a blameless life, she never thought of her awful luck as being anything but accidents in a very busy place. Good for her." ~Kurt Vonnegut
