About Me

HODOFIN'S FREEKER BOX is a band from Ohio with a lot of folks constantly moving in and out of the musical action. The main "crew " consists of Travis Hodosko, Scott Troyer, Zach Laffin, Chucky Bott, & Jared Vandemark. It all started when Travis met Scott by crashing on his couch in Wapak around 18 years old, they instantly formed a bond around music, fun and traveling to crazy places to camp and jam. A few years later Scott & Travis formed a band in Columbus with Scott's brother Seth (Drummer) & Jared Vandemark (Percussion) called the Fire Walk'n Gypsies, "which by the way people say we should go back to that name. FWG later sort of slothed into HFB over the years . Sometime in 2004 Travis met Zach "truckstop Jesus" Laffin while playing an open mic in Lima. from there they where the band. Travis & Zach took their music to Southern California for awhile. When they eventually returned a year ago their was much to get done with the old band "Caterpillar" becoming the new "The Moth". They then met back up with Chucky Bott (Percussion) and began practicing as one.

Influences: Everyone & Everyting!Bob Marley said a set of words "say something"... What do you have to say? Does it mean anything? Does it move you? We have have become tired of predictability and say so. Be the song you wrote, be the folks you love. We are an enima for some reality that reality is, in its widest sense, includes everything that is, whether it is observable, accessible or understandable by science, philosophy, or any other system of analysis. Reality in this sense may include both being and nothingness, whereas existence is often restricted to being. So I challenge myself to respect the motion; th@ perpetual motion is the lotion I grew from. Sorry for depth of the now. Thirty lives a gallon please find out what your challenge it is benificial to all of us.........................

MORE MUSIC!!!!

Have no fear we will soon have more music up for you. We actually recorded Ladee Dadee (Snoop Dog cover) in California on blotter and psilocybin so, it was an intersting night for recording ...
