I am 83 years of age and I live in beautiful Northern California.....I lost my precious husband 12 years ago after 53 years of marriage and life has not been the same without him....I have two lovely Christian daughters that I am very proud of.....My life is complete with 5 handsome grandsons and 1 beautiful granddaughter and at this writing I have 6 precious great grandchildren.....Three of my grandsons are married and that means I have 3 more granddaughters, they are perfect.
I just thank my Heavenly Father each and every day for my beautiful Family......how fortunate I am....I love each one of them in a very special way.....they are so dear to me.
I was born in Arkansas to the most wonderful parents any human being could possibly have......The Lord gave me 2 precious brothers, one 4 years older and one 9 years younger....What a rich blessing to have been born into a loving Christian family......The house I was born in did not have electricity, running water, radio, telephone, television, none of the items we just take for granted any more....However, in our home there was a lot of love and I always felt the presence of our Heavenly Father.....I loved the evenings my mother would read from our large family Bible......When I was 12 years of age we moved to Southern California to join some of my aunts and uncles who were already there, yes it was like moving into a different world.....Here we had electric lights, a telephone and soon we were able to buy a radio.....In High school I joined the orchestra and learned to play my violin...I rode my bicycle to school and enjoyed roller skating every chance I got.....Wow, life was great......I also attended a wonderful church where I met 2 friends (Ruth and Bernice) at the age of 12 who remain my dearest friends today....The 3 of us were called the 3 musketeers.....they have been shining jewels in my life and I treasure their friendship.....we stay in close communication......When I was 16 years of age a handsome young man named Ray came into my life (met him at our church) whom I would marry in only a couple of years....We were married on his first furlough......The Lord performed a miracle in bringing him back home to me, I say a miracle because he was on the front lines in Germany for 16 months without pulling back....He was in the infantry and went through the Battle of the Bulge without a scratch, that was a MIRACLE......While he was in the service I worked at the Los Angeles Port of Embarkation and also in the office of a couple of the shipyards......The Lord gave us 53 years together.....Ray was a hard worker and a good provider for his family that he loved with all his heart......He would have run through fire for any of us......We miss him so very much......He loved his 2 daughters with all his heart and he always wanted a son and the Lord blessed us with those 5 grandsons......Thank you Jesus!......I live a quiet life now but actually very busy.....I love to work in my flower beds, attend church, try to keep my place neat and tidy and I love my computer......It has opened up a whole new world for me......I love my Bible most of all, and the computer has helped me with Bible study.....I love the Nation of Israel and my Bible tells me that God will once again take up His dealing directly with His Chosen People very very soon.......We are definitely living in the last generation......What an awesome time in History to be living and it is happening to you and me.......One thing I have learned in life is that I can always depend upon the Lord Jesus Christ to be very close to me and help me through all the struggles of life......What a comfort to know that He truly is MY SHEPHERD and I SHALL NOT WANT.
