Born in the Mid-West with roots out in PA., this slick rhyming M.C. adds the Metroplex, Texas swagger to his demeanor and forte. Known as the Jones Inque Poster Boy, K-Dub rides tracks like 22s. His career started in the rap group The Lab Boyz, which consisted of a collection of artist from all over the country including Memphis, K.C., Louisiana, as well as DFW. Dub attributes being in this melting pot of rappers helped to develop his own style, flow, and tune to mesh with the other artists in the group. Paying his dues in the city, on the streets, and on the hip-hop scene, has made the up and coming artist a force not to be taken lightly or slept on. His debut album DOUBLEBACK consists of features of artists from around the metroplex, including Erica Rhodes, Tristan, Brian Andrews of Blaq Friday, Herald Prosody, (Boogalou Bayou & Baby Sa), members that were in his group The Lab Boyz, and the bioniq M.C. Steve Austin, all add that extra heat that makes this a classic. Big E of Liqwid Ent. and Ricochet of Family Vibe Sounds contribute a pinch of flavor to add the heat that the Jones have provided. Tal B of Michael Vincent Photography in Hollywood, CA. also has colaborated with KD on occasion, writing and arranging hits in the Jones Inque studio. Performing everywhere in the city from Carribean Grill, the Stress Room, MP3, The Majestic Theatre in Dallas, M5, The Texas Summer Music Conference, plus many more venues to boast, the work ethic of this young grinder seems to be endless. DOUBLEBACK 2.0 consists of the hit singles, but replaces some tracks with even more heat from the DoubleMan! With new production from the young hitmaker J.Ride of ridethebeat productions, Dub's personal dirty south Jus Blaze, and Freestyle of the International Kings. The "upgrade" 2.0 is just more evidence of this artist's talent, colaborating with BMP, the Jones Inque extended family out of H-Town. Also featured on the the new project is Lex Lu, named "The Queen of tha D" who jumps on the single "This is How We Do It" produced by Freestyle.
