HERALD PROSODY is 'bout the art. We write & produce, what else is there! eaCH One tEAch oNe! Curnell Luvell aka Boogalou Bayou, Boulevard Ard & Pedro Swavy: Born in Shreveport, Louisiana. King Kobra aka Cadillac Wilkinz, Baby Sa', & Wingstan: Born in Dallas, Texas. The two merged in 1997 as D.G.O.P (Dawgish Group Of Playas) which included a third member. The group was already established once Boogalou Bayou was asked to participate. Over the next few yrs. D.G.O.P worked along side with FunkLab Ent. which is now Jones Inq. As a collective the Lab Boyz were formed which included Mr. Ricosha, Herald Prosody, K-Double, Lady Lejen & Da Jonez's. In 1999, the name D.G.O.P changed to Herald Prosody after the third member no longer included themselves in the music. Herald Prosody as performed at Club GG's, Midpoint, The Majestic Theater, K104 Car show, 97.9 da Beat Car show, Bayou Classic, 97.9 Juneteenth Festival, Sherman, TX with Petey Pablo, Little Rock,AR with DJ Paul of 3 Six Mafia and Lil Wyte, Jackson, TN with BG from the Hot Boyz and even the Texas Summer Music Conference just to name a few. During 2003-2005 Herald Prosody started investing in themselves. By teaching themselves to create their own music using keyboards, mpc 2000, acoustic & electric guitar. Which has developed Herald Prosody's sound as Junkyard Phunk.
