About Me

My name as you know is Bradley S. Hartman and I live in northwestern Indiana, at least for the time being. At the age of fifty, I have done almost everything that I have ever wanted to do from retail sales and management to truck driving (A shiver runs through me) to of course the best; Author of my first book U.S. Avengers and becoming a Poet Laureate with poems all over the globe that have won me numerous awards and an ongoing poet of the year nomination for the last 6 years running. A lot of people ask me what it takes to be a writer, I'll try and answer that. First off you need to have the urge to be in solitary confinement at a young age and of course have the best people around to inspire you Marlene, my first true love Jaymi, my daughter. And of course my new bride and greatest love, Andrea. Then you find a place where you can get lost with your imagination, such as where you can go a little insane and find the real you hidden in your imagination Then with the help of good friends that get a kick out of characters being based on them Like my long time best friend Jim(Cody Sandler)Aquino who happens to be a model as well as an actor out on the east coast, you meld all the crazy thoughts in your mind with the realism of your characters and then submit it to a publisher, where you wait and wait. Then one day, you get accepted and a long while after that you are unbelievably holding your book and that feels like you've discovered Then you get your friends to retighten those screws you've loosened and go to myspace where you meet some really good friends and become their favorite author. Thanks guys.

My Interests

Well more time as gone by and I'm still waiting for some of you on my friends list to either say someting about the creative mind of yours truly via the U.S.Avengers, or that you have at least bought the book to sit on your coffee table so you can tell people I know the Author. As of right now, I'm working like a dog trying to get the third book as far as I can before I have to start the fun job of re-writes for the second one. So once again, If you do not have the first U.S.Avengers and you get lost when the second and third one come out, who's to blame? That's right, you. Sound like one of your old High School Teachers don't I? But seriously, you don't want to miss Tommy in U.S. Avengers II: A Cut Above, he is definitely worth meeting. and of course if you miss him, you will be taking the chance that you'll get on the bad side of Donna who comes back in the third book with a vengeance. And I'll tell you now, I'm not sure if even the Stutz Sisters that's one of them there, or Marlene Sandler will be able to protect you. So if the legendary red Fiero passes you by

with a warning growl from Socrates coming out of its open window, just remember what he was trying to tell you. If you don't get in on it now, this could be you as you try desperately to catch up. I hope that all of you can be patient with me as I put the final touches to U.S. Avenger II and get it to the publishers, trust me it will be worth the wait. I thank you all for your support. To Sherry, Judy and Ronda, well you know why I'm especially indebted to you, thanks. You want to hear something silly, some people believe these things write themselves And as always, your all in my heart which makes me

I'd like to meet:

Still Stephen King, the one author that inspired me the most and of course anybody in film that might give U.S. Avengers a chance.
