(The Very Serious at Earshot Cafe - featuring a few familiar faces)
History
On his way to Newton Hawker Centre one night in March 2005, Joe was listening to The Killers' "Indie rock n roll". While singing along, he unconsciously changed the words and broke out into "it's local indie rock for me".
Eugene (Morphy, EMOT) met Joe at Newton that night; and after knocking back a couple of beers, Joe broached the idea of forming a band that only plays covers of local songs.
The idea for the band was still interesting a week later while sober. Thus, Joe and Eugene began roping in Cal (Nuance), Tim (highrise), Yap (singer for theme song to comedy series, "Durian King"), Alexius (Stroll, Morphy) and Ler.
