Based in Dallas, Texas, Ivory Narvell has proved to be one of the industry’s most versatile fashion designers and fashion stylists. In addition to creating stunning designs and images, she’s used her knowledge of the industry to steer the careers and refine the runway walks of such budding fashionistas as America’s Next Top Model winner Dani Evans and Miss Plus America winner and professional actress Chenese Lewis.
This San Antonio-born talent moved to Dallas to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. Since then, she’s forged a path in the industry that has led to undeniable success. Narvell collaborated with a multitude of noted fashion photographers and makeup artists to create a dynamic portfolio highlighting her innate sense of style and aesthetic sensibilities, and it wasn’t long before she was in demand as a designer, stylist and runway expert.
Ivory Narvell’s expertise spans all facets of the fashion industry. Having made an indelible mark on the Texas pageant scene, she is credited with designing the opening wardrobe for the 2005 Miss Texas Galaxy Pageant; the swimsuits for the 2002 Miss Texas Latina Pageant and the award winner fashion wear for Miss Galaxy 2004, Gina Ferrer. Her print and editorial credits include The Juice Weekly, Supermodels Unlimited and Miss Spokesmodel International Magazine. As a fashion show producer and runway coach, she has produced and directed shows that have left audiences applauding in amazement and anticipating what’s to come.
Narvell’s work is a reflection of her tenacity, passion, overwhelming charisma, and her own inner and outer beauty. So it was no surprise in 2006 when she landed a full page spread in Supermodels Unlimited and was noted as one of industry’s most beautiful people. In addition to her remarkable beauty and creativity, Ivory Narvell has also developed a reputation as a savvy businesswoman. One of the pillars of Narvell’s career is her own company Miss Spokesmodel International, under which she’s produced the Miss Spokesmodel International Modeling Competition and the Miss Spokesmodel International Runway Workshop. These ventures have afforded Narvell the opportunity to inspire and prepare young women from as far as Russia and Japan for the sometimes brutal world of fashion – a mission she has fully embraced. In addition to the fulfillment gleaned from sharing the lessons of her career with others, her efforts have received substantial coverage from local media bureaus. Her company has also lured the partnership of major corporate sponsors including The Coca-Cola Company, Barbizon Modeling and the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, a major mark of triumph for this dynamic industry player.
