B-pro is short for Baaah Productions, an invention Raphael klompers and Elwin Rijken made in 1999.
With their first movie called "No Entry" starring José Roman, Murat Nur, William cheng and lots more, they did not acctually make a breaktrough, but it was a nice shot.
The movie was made with an 8mm home video camera and finally came out 2001.
After that, Baaah got some more succes and people like Rudi van der Steen and Johan adres joined the group, wich was getting bigger and bigger.
in 2002, Baaah productions made a new movie called:"Dojo Master" Starring almost the whole team. This movie came out in 2002 and more people where
excited to see the Baaah team
In 2003 Baaah Productions started planning a new big movie, with the idea of becoming a more popular and well known stunt team.
In March 2004 they started filming and it went quite well, with the necessary bruises and here and there a dislocated ankle.
In the summer of 2004 they finally came up with a name, they were going to name it:"Bum-Fu, A joint venture." Starring Mike Koningsverdraag as Mike Raphael Klompers as Harold de Zwerver, Rudi van der Steen as Nico T and Johan Aders as TJ.
Bum Fu came out in november 2004, and had his premiere in the Pathé Cinema, the largest cinema in Eindhoven, after that it also was played in the Eurocinema, Het Rembrandtheather and the Plaza Futura.
Just a few months after that. Elwin and Raphael came up with a new idea of making a parody of a old kids show called "Bassie en Adriaan".
The show was well known for its bad acting and the afwully red colored caravan. And yes... they managed to get a exact replica of that same caravan. The short turned out quite good and it was called "Bassi en Driaan, en de verloren schatkaart".
Just a few months after that, they made a new short parody of the well known Belgian tv-show, Samson en Gert.. (yes the one with the talking dog) and made that clash with Kabouter Plop (another bad kids schow about gnomes)
Not long after that short, Elwin and Johan came up with another ridiculous idea.. To make a parody of the well known TV-show "The A-Team" Starring Ramon Etman as Bamibal, Jeffrey Kensenhuis as B.B, Johan Aders as Gezicht and Jose Roman as Meurhond. This was also the first short for Murat Nur (who played in all of the longer movies), his role was Colonel Rucker.
After a few months, Elwin got involved with Pentamagik.
Pentamagik is a higly professional film team who use the Viper as a videocamera. Elwin thought about it, and finally asked Pentamagik if they could work with them on their next production called "Cinebaaah" with professional actor Jaap Postma in the leading role. The filming location would be the Eurocinema (where Bum Fu had his second premiere). As soon as everyone agreed, they started fliming. With massive crouds waiting to be just a few secs on camera, they started with their first professional production. Everything went well, and after to days with no time to waste, they were finally done. The movie did went well, but not just as well as the few earlier shorts, that where shot with a JVC digicam.
The last new short, was called "Kung Fu Idols" a parody of the well known TV show "Idols". This short hit that special spot again, so all of the die hard fans downloaded it over and over again.
At the moment Elwin is still in his attic, creating a new ridiculous idea... What will it be next? Who knowes!
