Shaven Apes

Shaven Apes were born from the ashes of Hull rockers Blind Frog Ernie in January 2006, and is the brand new studio project from Dave Fox and Mark Allsopp.
Shaven Apes' music is hard and unforgiving, it's lyrics full of anger and conviction, yet their songs still retain a catchiness making it hard to get them out of your head.
Their dubut EP; Shave An Ape, takes a cynical look at and the "Big Brother" society our world is rapidly becoming, and questions issues like the validity of religion, global warming and politics with tracks like Beginning of the End, Chinese Whispers and the title track, Shave an Ape.
Lost my Head and We are Someone deal with our self-destruction from a more personal level and ask many questions of ourselves and of the choices we make while City of Sin takes a long, hard look at some of the dirtier, seedier corners of society and the way in which we are drawn to them.
