Daniel Faulwasser was born in 1976 in chemnitz (at that time known as Karl-Marx-Stadt). Inspired by the notorious broadcasts of now faded radio station DT64, he began his dj carrer in 1993. First he had a crack at tapes and quiet ancient state of art but in the offing he bought his own first dj setup. His first gigs he attended in clubs like the Voxxx in Chemnitz or the Fabrik in Dresden. In 1994, when a branch of the record store chain Delirium opend its doors in Chemnitz, he took care of very current equipped dj cases of his dj associates, from the very first time. In 1995 he reported the residency in the Voxxx in chemnitz, where he played with many celebs from the techno- and house business. There he discovered his own sound, a mixture from soulful deephouse and techno. In the year 1997 he founded the club Lait Solaire with some friends, wich was completely illegal in its first location. After closing this unlicenced venue the Lait solaire went more professional and officially registered at another place in the city. He was completely in charge of the booking. He invited illustrious names like Ellen Alien, Karotte, Steve Bug or Martin Landsky. Lait Solaire vanished into thin air in 1999, there were no stopping to catch his breath. He played several times at notorious Stammheim in Kassel or the U60311 in Frankfurt. He also had appearances in the Club Achtermai and its offset the Brixen. In 2001 he happened to produce his own tracks, wich led to contribution on a compilation of Tom Clark´s Highgrade Records. From now on he wouldn´t be any longer known as Fauli but Dan Drastic. Quiet weary with Chemnitz he moved to the more busy Leipzig, where he is know playing in several clubs.
Since 2006 he has been working at the Moon Harbour office and this is where he´s going to release his new track, too.
