About Me

MEMORIA (meh-MORE-ee-uh) - Latin for "memory," and the essence of the purpose for the band's existence: To provide an attention-grabbing, larger-than-life rock show that is certain to leave a lasting impression in the minds of its viewers. Formed in early 2006, the northern New Jersey-based Memoria boasts a lineup of young, motivated, skilled performers, with some having upwards of a decade of performance experience. In only a short time, Memoria has proven themselves quick to turn heads in a number of cities through a lineup of songs carefully structured to satisfy even the most demanding of audiences. With their charismatic delivery and presence, Memoria puts forth a sound that speaks precision and feel, a rare attention to detail, and a melodic element that boldly stands out through vocal contributions from all four members. Clearly evident in every note played, this dynamic 4-piece is driven by a deep-rooted passion for all things rock-and-roll: performance, collaboration, skill development, and the satisfaction of being able to provide fans across the tri-state area with an escape from the daily rat race in the form of a high-energy, groove-oriented performance of modern rock hits, accented with classic crowd-pleasers of days past, and their own unique flavor of remakes. Considering themselves artists first and foremost, the members Memoria continue to attack the original music scene together as well, and with equal valor. Those who share Memoria's addiction for original rock music can also find a home as the band continues to provide audiences with shining examples of their ear-catching array of melodic hard-hitting original rock compositions. With each and every new fan, Memoria continues their trek to the top.
