First off, THIS PAGE MUST BE VIEWED WITH FIREFOX or OPERA for a better viewing experience .
I am interested in everything. In fact, I'm interested in anything that crosses my path, or happens into my field of vision (poor as it is), or that wanders into earshot.
I'd like to meet:
I used to say "Jogi," my dream character, but I met him now. So...now what?
Music:
I LIKE music. I do. I like electronic music. Yeah. I like:
2 Lone Swordsmen; Air; Amon Tobin; Aphex Twin; Autechre; BASIC; Black Dog, The; Boards of Canada; Bola; Bonobo; Burnt Friedman; DJ Shadw; Flashbulb, The; Freeform; Future Sound of London; Global Communication; Hopkins, Jon; ilya y. rostovtsev; Instrumental; Jaga Jazzist; Jega; Kraftwerk; Kid Koala; Leisure B; Mu-Ziq; Orbital; Orb, The; Plaid; Plone; Remus; Rumpistol; Ugress; Uwe Schmidt...and a shitload more.
Movies:
Orbyss' Experiments in Chaos and...Boobahs.
See the original Experiments in Chaos (below).
This follow-up may not be quite as astoundingly happenstance, but it proves to be five times as amusing and disturbing; this one features
Boobahs.
The tracks (Mouse on Mars' "Juju," "Shunkel" and "Albion Rose," Burnt Friedman's "Sex is Not Right," and part of The Album Leaf's "Shine") randomly played while my 3,000 song playlist was on shuffle and yet again seemed created for the video that accompanied them. While I did play shuffled music in the hopes that some would synchronize with the video, no parts were premeditated. This time around the last song did not end perfectly with the video, which is unfortunate but easily overlooked when one observes how well it synchronizes otherwise.
Orbyss' Experiments in Chaos and Synchronicity
"The life of Orbyss is a strange one. Even sitting at the computer means odd things are likely to happen.
In the spirit of "Dark Side of Oz," I've often played videos and movies to my Winamp playlist set on shuffle. The results are always about as astounding as those reported with Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" set with "The Wizard of Oz" (a popular stoner pastime). Until now, I've never attempted to put the two together for others to see.
Now, enjoy the full "Russian Experiments in the Revival of Organisms" to the sounds of electronic music (Orbital, Pilote, The Flashbulb and Maus).
For more on the creation of -- and general information on -- this synchronistic video, see this ."
