Music is my main hobby/my life - buying, playing, mixing it around. If you ever need a song come to me and I..m bound to have it (or a similar option if not) . Also playing guitar (self taught), singing etc. Recently looking into DJ..ing. And am a big reader (mostly biogs/autobiogs and any books about music, its history, the musicmakers involved, movements/scenes,starmakers etc). And I love my nights out, big fan of pub quizzes (tho I'm not a dork yet the team I'm on often ends up winning!).
Like who I can have a laugh with and be down to earth and have good coversation. Big fan of music lovers. I like anyone who, when a fab oldie comes on the jukebox, has the urge to be like my best mate Ash/Dj Alice and pretend to be in an 80s video with a wetlook wig, fingerless gloves and walking out into a cloud of dry ice (I could never do it personally) or just jump around the place all sweaty and let go and not really care! Also love folks who when some song/album/artist/film/book/misc is mentioned doesn't say "Who?" or "That's crap!" without giving it a try. I hate that kind of ignorance so love when people get my references or I get theirs (Basically, open-mindedness is the key). I thrive on good harmony. :-) Started easing down on the nights out and started focusing on relaxing more, going to the cinema, reading loads, eating out, comfy/nice nights in - anything that's a bit more grown up to be honest. Feeing a bit "been there done that" but I still have to party now and then. Not keen on smoking/smokers though I guess that..s what chewing gum and toothpaste were invented for. And I have this odd fear of condiments (too weird to get into). They just freak me out. Famous wise I'd love to meet Bowie or Jane Fonda. Always wanted to meet Blondie and have now done that...twice!

Favourite unrelated kind of book is The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey (don't get narrow minded, I just agree with a lot of what he wrote). Just been introduced to the books of Paul Burston (by the man himself! - and he's a Blondie fan too!). My current fave fiction is Paul's "Lovers & Losers" and my current fave non-fiction is "Cry Salty Tears" by Dinah O'Dowd.
