EMPRESS DIVINE

Empress Divine represents a diverse female sound with a conscious overstanding of reggae music and dancehall. She is a well know selector blazing a fire on the Toronto radio station’s, both 88.1 CKLN and 105.5 CHRY. Motivated by her passion for the art of music and the whole concept of spinning vinyl she has been a selector for 4 years and formed a sound called Empress Eternal Sound. This young empress’s talent does not stop here, she is also a very recognized vocalist/dj in the rastafari community, with soon to be released single “Chant Rastafari” and “Selassie is within me”. She has performed with major talents in the industry such as Bushman, Turbulence, Tony Rebel just to name a few. Through music she feel’s a self awareness, just by listening to the originators and leaders of reggae music such as Rita Marley, The Abyssinians, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh U-Roy, Dennis Brown, Sister Carol, Marcia Griffith and the list goes's on and on!!! Music has been around for an eternity and Empress Divine from Empress Eternal Sound is everlasting!
