We used to put on really good shows in a variety of venues around Ireland, most notably a deafeningly good Jeniferever (Sweden) and a fantastic touring experience on the Redjetson and Subplots (formerly envelope) mini-tour of Ireland.
We never once put a band on the bill that we did not like and this was reflected in the number of gigs we put on.
We paid artists as best we could for performing, as all promoters should do, sometimes at losses which forced the return of full time employment.
Due to the serious lack of interesting/original/good bands in this country, we hung up our promoting hats at some point in early 2007, having no interest whatsoever in encouraging the performance of these bands. We do hope though, that the good bands that we did not get an oppurtunity to work with, have the best luck they can get in the industry (moving out of Ireland would be a very good start).
To everyone who came to one of the shows whether randomly or intentionally, we hope you enjoyed them and continue to go to gigs where bands you like are playing.
