Willis T was born Las Cruces and raised in Albuquerque and Vado New Mexico. I started rappin in 1990, recorded my first song in 1993, and my first album in 1995 called "Licks of the Trade" in Farmington NM, produced by Eugene Cook. After the death of my brother and best freind Lamar Johnson"The Don" R.I.P. I dedicated myself to my music. In June of 1998 I met Revelation and started a group called Black Reign and 2 months later we completed an album called "You can't stand the Reign"produced by Black Reign, Black Rain Productions,and Drippen Wet Production. . In 1999 I played an extra in the Master P's movie Lockdown filmed in Albuquerque and Santa Fe NM. In 2000 I moved to Charlotte NC, and collaborated with Kip Levy on a track Produced by T Apollo from Columbia SC. After a 2 year stay in Charlotte, and Gastonia I moved back to Albuquerque and started working on a new group album and my solo album. With The Asailents group album "This the Southwest" completed Im putting the finishing touches on my solo album Willis T "Back on the Block" and I'm about to hit em in the head with this one!!!!!
