Dreadfall

So we return to the source, to find again what we thought was lost.
On that road a brother falls, a child is lost and blood is shed.
Though the price is high to find ourselves, we must engage what we fear most, the unknown.
Now I look back and I see the difference.
Now I have returned to what ones was mine, I have returned to myself.
I regret the losses though the choice was not a selfish one, it was my choice to rise above the loss in me and take back what was mine.
