anything that doesn't suck... got my jump off at 8 with Def Leppard Pyromania... and Michael Jackson Thriller... taste has become even more diversified through the years. By 12 I was one of the two metal heads in 6th grade (The other was Scott Glazer... best 12 yr old guitar player in the world!) We stole our older siblings records and tapes and jammed out to Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica (Cliff Burton version), Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Van Halen.... by 7th grade rap had invaded the music library thanks directly to License to Ill... Beastie Boys, and Yo Mtv, Raps ..Kool Mo D, NWA, ICE T opened up a whole other world... I still made it a point to where my Jean Jacket with my Master of Puppets tea shirt cut out and stitched to the back of it (actually my older brothers'... but he had a black leather jacket and left for school before i did... so i would sneak it out of his closet after he left).Then came the move to Florida from Jersey '87... mad culture shock... Freebird dude! Anyhow... older brother and I held on tight to Metal... moved to Spring Hill after about 10 months... heard Metallica blasting out of this guys car with long hair pulling out of Springstead parking lot, I walked up to the car, asked him which direction he was going, he said left... I said cool and opened his door, got in and told him to take me home... the two guys in the car (John and Mike). They were my 2 first friends in Spring Hill and 2 of the first 4 of my friends in Myspace (September will be 18 years)! Metal and Rap dominated my high school years.By senior year my best friend Brandon and I started sneaking into 911 in Tampa, instantly hooked... NIN, Nitzer Ebb, Ministry, SkateNigs, Sisters of Mercy.... within two years both of us worked in the night club (Brandon was bouncer) I was living with him and Kenny and Mark (Empire)... Kenny asked if I wanted a job, I was there everynight anyway... the rest is history... DNA, Parthenon, Evolutions, Masquerade, Tracks, The Castle, Flytrap...By the end of the millenium I had been listening to alot of electronica... rabbit in the moon, ronnie size, bt, santana ....Last album purchased... Death Cab for Cutie Last song downloaded... Adventure (Angels and Airwaves) What kind of music do I like today... I'll try anything once... If I like it... I will play it again.
every movie from 1985 (the greatest year in movie history)... better off dead, weird science, real genius, breakfast club, goonies, st elmos fire, the list goes on. SuperTroopers (Meow!) , Army of Darkness, Ski School (la-ba-da), The Bondock Saints, Spies Like Us. Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Bram's Dracula. Movies I would stay up and watch even if it was really late and i had to get up early the next morning... Better of Dead, The Last StarFighter, Dune. There is a ton of movies I am missing... One of my favorite things is to get a bottle.. and watch a movie with a good friend... and then tell jokes about it forever.
