About Me
First of all... Just beacuse you see I produce grime and music of an urban influence and have an alias other than my own name, do not assume I etch my name in bus windows, have no appreciation for any other musical genre, take drugs or jam on roads hoping to cause trouble, because..... I'm my own person, under no label or stereotype, and if you judge me before you know me, then your even worse than what you make me out to be....
Anyway... I'm a creative and aspiring music producer hailing from South-East London. I had always been musically minded, even from a very early age. Even as a small child I would sit for hours playing an electric organ, piano or a keyboard, teaching myself a random melody or making one up. This progressed into later life where I began to learn how to play a couple of instruments, some of which do not need to be mentioned lol.
At the start of secondary school, I took the oppurtunity to learn how to play the guitar, as that, along with being able to play the piano, is a huge talent in terms of creativity. I carried this on for three years until I had reached a point where I could not progress any further by simply being sat down and taught. I gave the lessons up but obviously due to the amount of time spent learning, retained the knowledge. During this period, in one music lesson, myself and Kredz were assigned to make some composition using some old version of Ejay, which was quite amusing lol. After a quick minute, things began to sound quite nice, so the love for music production began.
Things took off properly when Kredz was drafted into GJL, headed up by Scatz who's worked with many well known artists such as P Money, Supah Jay, Lioness, Stickz etc... He was obviously going to need material to flow on so I obtained a copy of FL and began (extremely badly at first) making music. As this progressed and people began hyping off, what back then were, really baaaaaad tunes, I started to take things more seriously, constantly wanting to up levels. This caused a small click to form called Grim Regiment, consisting of Myself, Exo, Twiss (now Twisted Rootz), Storm, Pulze, Shifta & Fearless. That however flopped and died out. Then, a small production partnership called Partners in Grime was formed consisting of Myself and Marky-G, who at the time was in SRS. Two riddims were made, one of which was "Takedown" which got nowhere, and the other being Sonic riddim, which due to me reaching Scorpz, Icer, Elmo & Suspense with, caused a small bang in the scene.
After the beat "Lost Century" was made and vocalled by three members of SRS (Drama, Bugz & Skamer), I was drafted into the click, in which I will remain.
After gaining numerous musical connections in 2006 and 2007, including members of: Nu Brand Flexx, Fatal Assassins, Dark Element, Venom Empire, Chronicle Entertainment, Roll Deep, Circular Movements, Tu Tuff Youngers, Top Boy Movements, Aftershock Hooligans, Highly Rated, Kids in the Hood Essentials, Fire Camp etc.. it has made me into the more experienced and quickly evolving producer I am today, as I have only been in the game a minute (Producing for just over a year now).
